Holy dammit, look at the amount of Defense Rating on these pants. Although I'm pretty sure that the set name: Totally Triumphant Liadrin's Plate is a place holder, these pants are rediculously amazing for Palladin tanks (considering they're the only ones that can get these). Which is fairly fitting as these (or their tokens) will more than likely drop from the 25-man heroic version of the new Crusader's Colliseum raid (from what I can ascertain, these are part of the new tier 9 armor sets and therefore should have tokens attributed to them as the tier 8, conqueror set does). As you can see from the tooltip, just this piece alone conveys a little over 20 defense skill which gives about .8% chance to dodge, parry, and block. This is from just one item. Obtaining the entire set will give you a total of 390 defense rating which equates to 79.268 defense skill. That leaves about 61 defense, or 300 defense rating, to obtain through your amulet, weapon, sheild, rings, trinkets, etc., which should be very easy.

The hit and the Block Value stats are also highly valuable to tanks as in many cases it's very important to not miss against bosses as some will automatically get a free hit on you.

Lets see, what other information can be gleaned from this. Well, it's clearly going to be for Horde because of the npc that the set is named after, Lady Liadrin. Even more convincing is that she is the head of the blood knights. No doubt that Turalyon's Legguards of Triumph are the alliance version named after General Turalyon, who is not physically in the game unless you count his statue.

I kind of disagree about the SBV. As far as being a mitigation stat, it's pretty poor, especially considering the absolutely huge hit's bosses melee for now. That being said, 306 SBV (which wll be more when you apply the buff from redoubt) equates to some threat too, and since these legplates pack hit as well, I'm thinking Blizz had threat in mind then they itemised them.
