So, I've got a macro. It opens up the eggs in your inventory to pull out the chocolates, as well as uses the basket

I've got it set up as:

/use Egg Basket
/use Brightly Colored Egg

Then I set it to a handy key, and every time I want to do either, I get the other. I find it very convenient.

You still have to find the eggs, and right click on them, but this simplifies the other things that you need to do.

Some people may experience some delay between the time the speed buff fades and the cooldown of the item, probably due to latency. This can cause a moment of slow running every 10 seconds, which can cost you eggs in high competition times. A way around this that I found was to jump just as the buff was running out, and activate the basket midair. While you are jumping you will not slow down, so you can keep the 60% speed up uninterrupted with this method.

Another note about the basket, you cannot use this item unless you are inside one of the starting town sub-zones (ie Goldshire, Azure Watch, ect). If you exit the zone with the buff active, it will be removed, just like running into a building while mounted. Also, using the basket in the wrong sub-zone will not trigger the cooldown.
