i was at 0/8 0/8 and couldnt click on some wood pieces i found at the cords someone provided. i thought the quest must be bugged like you said and was about to abandon but happened to pass some metal that i was able to click on, i was 1/8 on metal and suddenly the wood pieces were selectable.

62,53 Start at the SW side of the intersection near there and the ravine.. Its not bugged but the rubble north of there doesn't have the material.

If your bugged and can't loot the wood then try abandoning the quest and getting it again. I was then able to loot the Salvaged Wood.

the wood is to the north right under thrallmar. they are by the broken catapults

I was not able to loot wood south of the Path of Glory (sparkled but couldn't pick up), but was able to loot lots of wood around Reaver's Falls, around 65,45.

confirmed, ones near 67, 46 will drop; even when quest is 'bugged'

可利用的木頭 is a quest related item - you need to obtain it to complete 我替……部落工作! (Horde) or 不浪費，就不缺乏 (Ally) quest.

Make your way to the north of the tower for ally and to the south of Thrallmar for Horde.
Both 可利用的金屬 and 可利用的木頭 can be found on the ground, look like different junk - cogwheels, planks, pipes etc.
