Healer gearing always heavily depends on playstyle, situation and raid environment so treat the BiS list below as a guideline rather than a gospel.
As Discipline

s primarily value spell power and also easily reach their haste cap with

, there's several slots that changed since last phase. Most notably, three of the five sunmote swaps are worth seeking out as they allow us to trade in unnecessary haste rating for additional spell power and critical strike rating. The same concept holds true for the other changes, such as your jewelry, off-hand and cloak.
Since the Pre-Patch combined both healing power and spell power into the same stat, there are now some caster items that are fairly contested or expensive to craft, but slightly better for us nonetheless. These items are included in a separate tab of the gear embed below, so you're still able to see the more realistic alternatives in the first one.
Finally, keep in mind that the Pre-Patch generally makes all classes stronger, meaning raids will be easier to clear than they already were. This simply means that you do not have to feel compelled to completely optimize your gear set right away, but it could still be worth as you will also be using it for most of your journey towards level 80 and will likely even use some parts of it in initial T7 raids, before replacing them with the actual pre-raid BiS.

There are two viable meta gem options in the Pre-Patch, but

is usually the one you'll want to use as it provides more value.

(IED):
grants you 12 Intellect and a chance to restore 300 mana on successful spellcasts. It has a 5% proc chance and a 15 second internal cooldown and requires at least 2 yellow gems, 2 red gems and 2 blue gems. The average mp5 value of IED is 33.25/39/43 mp5 at 40/50/60 casts per minute respectively.

As with all temporary spell power buffs, the downside is that you are not able to overwrite your shields if they haven't broken by the time the buff ends, which can be fairly annoying at times.

are your next best trinkets in terms of pure throughput, as they both have around 70 average spell power, assuming the encounter is over right as the cooldown ends, meaning realistically they can be worth even more than that on a given fight. Keep in mind that their on-use effects cannot be overlapped anymore, due to them both providing spell power instead of healing power now.
While it provides less than on-use trinkets in encounters due to boss fights being so short,
戰鬥大師之勇武
has 70 static spell power, making it a fine choice as well. The main benefit is the fact that static spell power won't prevent you from overwriting your shields and that it does not rely on you making good use of on-use effects like the other throughput trinkets.
救贖者鍊金石
has 63 static spell power and grants you an extra 40% mana when using a potion, however starting in the Pre-Patch you will be limited to just one potion per combat, making its value more dependant on the fight length. Realistically it'll be around

in terms of regeneration, which isn't particularly great when considering the profession requirement and Alchemy not being ideal in WotLK.
Similarly,
泰蘭妲的紀念
has 63 static healing power and around 23 mp5 on average, which makes it your best choice for combined spell power and regeneration and a great choice for Discipline.
暗月卡:藍龍
surprisingly still provides a sizeable amount of mp5 at 70 despite spirit-based mana regeneration being nerfed by 40% and
being buffed. At 40 / 50 / 60 cpm it's worth around 60.5 / 73.8 / 86.5 mp5 respectively, making it an alright option for the Pre-Patch.
稀光的那魯稜片
has 63 static spell power and about 33 mp5 on average. The fact that the regeneration is entirely frontloaded could allow for some niche uses, but other than that, the long channel duration makes it a questionable choice on most bosses despite it going down to around 5.3 seconds in the realistic setup.

The only downside is the fact that the healing requirements of raids in the prepatch are so low that practically everyone is overhealing raids now, meaning players should rarely drop low or even die.
