At least The Winterhoof Brave follows you around as your Guardian helping you in combat. I think this Quest might be slightly bugged. Wasn't allowing me to slice some of the Winterskorn corpses or the actual corpse would just vanish once you did dismembered the Winterskorn's.

It's wierd, I'm a moonkin and when I dice up some vrykul with the machete, my Owlkin Frenzy procs. o_O I'm not even being attacked by anything.

You don't have to loot before you disember them, you can loot the pile of flesh afterwards :)

I noticed that if you use the machete while not targeting anything, it still makes the sound. I wonder if players around you can hear it too.. if so, this would be a fun item to use while standing aground for that.. "WTF was that?" effect.

An easy way of doing this (Cold Weather Flying required though) while doing Towers of Certain Doom is to fly up to a tower, call an airstrike and after the strike you can just jump down and chop all the casters. Rinse and repeat.

The Winterhoof Brave has asked you to use The Brave's Machete to dismember 20 Vrykul of the Winterskorn tribe at Skorn.

Description

Our elders say that these vrykul may be able to rise from the dead; not unlike the walking dead you call the Scourge, but a different kind of undeath.

We should not take any chances.

Here, take my machete. As we move through this place, carve up the remains of the vrykul that we slay.

I spent the morning sharpening it, so it should cleave even through their thick bones.
