you get the quest in ratchet. i got mad trying to find it lol. then u need to go to gadgetzan.

You have to get a referral quest from Tinkerwiz in Ratchet (https://www.wowhead.com/wotlk/npc=3494) before this guy will talk to you.

Spoke to this tinkerwiz in ratchet at lvl 70 eng lvl 190 but he does not give a quest to go to gadgetstan. (14 march 2008)

When you get the q you also get Nixx's Pledge of Secrecy you just clic on it and com opp signing and you get Nixx's Signed Pledge and you can turn it in

This no longer requires level 30. I completed this and "Show Your Work" and am only level 29.

I lvled my gnomish engeeniring to 375 then when i had gnomish engeeniring item i rerolled,
I got 235 engeeniring now but i can't take the quest any1 know why?

I am a lvl 41 hunter and at lvl 300/300 engineering and I dont know where to learn goblin engineering and when i talk to the goblin engineer in Gadgetzan(Nixx) or something he doesnt give me a quest please help me!

First U need to visit that NPC https://www.wowhead.com/wotlk/npc=4586/gontrão-henriques (for the horde)and take delivery quest, then talk to Nixx..

I have over 200 engineering and i've been trying to find this signed book and can not find it , its not the sothsaying for dummies , thats for sure , can ne 1 help plz , thanks

My engineering is at 226 and I'm lvl 54 Orc Hunter and Nixx still has no quest for me? Am I looking for the wrong guy? I also want to go Goblin Engineering because blowing up stuff rocks my socks!

I have every Vendor schematic I can Find .. Skill 295 @ 38 There has to be more.. I can't find a trainer that will teach anything over skill 265 in the Goblin Arts.. So I must ask.. Are you religated to Drops past the 265 lvl? If so ... That SUCKS!

i have an alt lvl 29 has engineering and i want to go goblin.
i know that i need to be lvl 35 for master engineering so that i can get my skil up to 300
but i want to know what lvl do i have to be to get the quest for goblin engineering

I've already done the show your work quest but my engineering is still stuck on 225. Is there someone else I need to talk to?

In order to switch you specialization you must first COMPLETELY unlearn engineering. Doing this will cause you to lose all your recipes and accumulated levels in engineering, so you should take the time to make sure its what you want. After you have unlearned engineering, relearn it and level it back up to 225. You must then go to Narain Soothfancys house in Tanaris (A little north of SteamWheedle Port). On his table is an open book entitled Soothsaying for Dummies. Once youve read it, you will be able to take up the other specialization.

Fair warning for other fellow Dummies playing Classic WoW:

Completing one of the The Pledge of Secrecy quests and then not completing one of the Show Your Work quests locks the player out from switching their Engineering specialisation. Even if you unlearn Engineering and then re-level it, you will still be offered the same Show Your Work quest as before.

Book "Soothsaying for Dummies" will not offer to switch your specialisation because the game doesn't consider you to have one in the first place.
The Game Masters will not help you with this problem. Believe me, I've tried.

Horde: To be eligible for this quest you must be at least level 30 and have your engineering skill 200+. To pick up this quest chain you need to have completed Engenharia goblínica (which is picked up in Undercity from Gontrão Henriques) or Engenharia goblínica (which is picked up in Ratchet from Guariba). Once you completed Goblin Engineering you will be able to see this quest in Gadgetzan.

Goblin engineering is about practical uses for high profit and higher explosive power! Our schemata allow us to make powerful bombs and mighty weaponry; the manual you read covered this.

The manual also covered our ages old oath of secrecy on our schemata. Once you become a goblin engineer, that's that. There is no access to gnome engineering at all.
