Vejrek's hut is not the hut just in front of Frostmane Hold. As the quest describes, it's located just south of there. Head due south until you run into the mountains, then start moving east until you find a short rise continuing south. This is the path to Vejrek's hut.

He is alone in his hut and is a level 11 boss with a polearm that dishes out a good bit of damage. Thunder Clap can be a big help in slowing him down and evening out the damage. Also, he respawns quickly so move away before you post to WowHead, or you'll get to kill him again, like I did.

For those using Cosmos, or Titan Panel the coordinates are 27,57.

This quest also teaches you Defensive Stance, Taunt, and Sunder Armor(rank 1).

Part 1 (Muren Stormpike) of this quest chain is not required. Once you reach Level 10, you can talk directly to Muren Stormpike to obtain this quest.

Obviously, you give up 85 XP if you skip step 1, but you can save some running time.

I finished this quest on a level 60 classic account character recently and received a 7 gold, 14 silver compensation.
I'm sure this quest will grant a rather decent amount of experience to anyone on a TBC/WotLK account (as the XP scales with your level).

Not bad for one-shotting a level 11 non-elite mob! ;-)

EDIT: You'll want to do this quest at the intended level for obvious reasons (the skills). My character underwent a faction change so it already had the skills.*

Just did this on a 72 warrior that I had faction changed and got 31k xp with heirloom chest/shoulders. Not bad for a stroll to the hut and back.

The quest level on this increases as your level does, remaining visible (as-in the question mark symbol indicating a quest never vanishes) even at max level.

The quest reward also increases, giving 16g 53s at level 80 (and, of course, the tasty 1100 reputation with Ironforge).

Maybe they changed where he used to be, but he is no longer in the camp at loc 28,52. Last poster is right on the edge of the mountain south of camp, loc 27, 57. He is a fast respawn.

My advice is, go do human def stance quest and do dwarf wep quest. There the easier and, in my opinion, the funnest of the two quests.

Well i never have find vejrek whitout trottbot..
He really har to find whiout coordination.
And confirme 27,54..
And he is easy to kill.

you can get a location mod that tells coordinates of where you are on your map and coordinates of where your cursor is on the map

The troll is located at 27,57 outside of hes house he is in lvl 11 so u can do it easy!

He is not on the spots 28.58, 28.52 he is 27.57 no doubt. U have to go up the little ramp to see him but he might be in his hut

from the mountains on top and west ward of the trolls camp, look south. You will see a yurt like tent. he is there and alone.

I'm a level 10 Warrior and just soloed Vejrek. I didn't have the Defensive Stand, but decided to give it a try anyway. Found him at 27:57. Found it very anti-climatic. It was an easy kill.

I Can't find him either! I have a location mod, but I dont know how to use it!

(I am NE that got a port to Ironforge, so I have no idea where frostmane hold even is!

Found him @ these co-ords 27, 57. and he has a bong in his little tent! oh and he respawns realy fast because he started attacking me while i starting writing this :P

I've been to the camp (campfire and hut with 5/6 trolls guarding) south of Frostmane Hole (the cave)over and over; taken out all the trolls by the campfire and still no Vejrek...just where is this nasty character hiding...anyone know?

He is at 27 , 57 if you are using a mod for map coordinates.

Vejrek is difficult to find, but I eventually did.

He is well away from the other trolls and lives at the top of a slope as pointed
out on the map Cords..

Completed Quest as a Lvl 10 Dwarf Warrior, but had help from a LVL 8 Hunter
who drew him down the slope.

Upon which I jumped on him causing the Fatal blows...

He is not in the hut with all the trolls by the campfire. He is a bit south and west up on a hilltop. I just killed him and got his head today.

Not the Huts in front of the Cave .
A little further south on top of the hill .
Yes 27.57 for Cosmos users .

If you want to rise in the ranks of the warriors, then you better be tough. I can teach you new moves but before that, prove to me you can handle yourself against real foes.

Vejrek is the toughest troll you'll find in these parts, and he's who you have to beat. He has a hut in the foothills just south of Frostmane Hold.

Bring me Vejrek's head and I'll know you have mettle.
