everyone saying you can get them from other places for a few hundred bucks... those are not officially licensed, therefore pointless to collectors. If you want a cheap knock off, sure, those are great for your wants/needs. But many of us are collectors and want the real deal. I was willing to pay $2000 for one from the first batch, but once i had the money for it, i couldnt find them under $4000. So, I'm jumping on this quick.

Too late, 5 years too late.I got one from ebay for 200 euros and had to get a license from the police before importing it which took almost 1 year.Not doing that again, at least not for a fake sword.
It looks amazing but $1500 for stainless steel? How much would it cost if it was high carbon steel? $5K?
This is not the very original one in 2008. The original one is crafted by EpicWeapons. There are minor differences. Still, good copy but not the "original" Frostmourne.
They are milking this franchise for ever cent they can get... $1.5k for a sword? And another $200 so you can hang it on the wall? That should come with the sword.

For $1500 I'd want them to take the Blizzard logo off the blade. Such poor placement.
If you really want one of these, there's way cheaper replicas elsewhere. I got my husband a legit one as a wedding gift for maybe $300 and it always gets a good reaction out of whoever comes over.
The thing that I laugh about most is that they think that the mount to put it on the wall is worth an extra $200.
Risky buying it on a pre-order after all the other fiascos recently. GL to anybody that wants to sink their money into this. A pre-order definitely does not guarantee receipt of the item with Blizzard merchandise sadly.
I've got the original one released many years ago, and it was less than half the cost of the current model.., the wall mount was included for free.I also got the Ice Shard floor stand, which looks way better than the wall mount.It even came with an RFID chip inside with my name and address and a reader.There was also a poster in addition to the certificate.
