Yes, Asian market never had the access to these mounts, so introducting them to in-game store is a solution for players to obtain it - obviously greedy, as Blizzard will capitalize on that tremendously.
But EU/US always had the access to these mounts. The price is insane, but there are people who are willing to pay the price, not because it's a great looking mount, but purely out of it's rarity and collector's value. You may like it or not, nobody cares, but if Blizzard decided to put them in store, it would mean they intervene into a free market, crushing the price and making all the people who paid these monstrous prices victims of changing the rules during the game, which in essence, by definition, is unfair.

It's not a complex concept. As an example: there are Pokemon misprint cards, that go on market for INSANE prices. It's because they are stupidily rare. Now, imagine printing them on purpose, watering down the market price, just because you want everyone to have access to them, and in the effect, capitalize on that.
How is that fair? Same applies to TCG. Simple. Concept.

The best way to make an item lose its value, after all, is to either a. remove its scarcity, or b. have Liz Truss manage it. AFAIK Truss isn't involved in Chinese politics, so... Going with option a.

WoW is a social game. A partt of its success as a social game were things like Talisman of Binding Shard, Corrupted Ashbringer, Amani Warbear, and yes, Spectral Tiger as well. I'm not a fan of the degree to which WoW makes items exclusive or unobtainable but the solution to that isn't to just cheaply drop everything on a real money store and make it lose all meaning to the actual game.

If they wanted to add recolors of these mounts to the US/EU realms I'd be totally in favor of that because it sucks when stuff is removed just for the sake of exclusivity, but that doesn't mean exclusivity and rare items should just completely stop existing in the game at all. Or hell, even put them in the game itself, available for actually playing the game. Comment by FyuriagosaBlizzard EU & US.
