Muradin clutches his head and reels for a moment as the memories rush back to him.
Yorg Stormheart says: ...Brann?
Brann Bronzebeard says: I can't believe this! You were dead! All accounts said so... what happened, Muradin. How did you get here?
Yorg Stormheart says: I... I dunno, Brann. I've been 'ere a long time... all I 'ave of me life before this place are flashes and nightmares.
Yorg Stormheart says: It's good te see you though, brother. More than words can say.
Brann Bronzebeard says: Indeed! Magni will be so happy to see you too! He's gotten nothing but bad news for a long time now, but this changes everything!
Brann Bronzebeard says: He's here in Northrend, brother, looking for you. A seer in Wintergarde brought word that you were not dead, and he left Ironforge immediately to come find you.
Magni Bronzebeard yells: Look, Lagnus, I consider you a capable man, but my patience is wearing thin. I know that Muradin is here, can you point me to him or not?

Magni Bronzebeard says: So it seems! And you haven't lost any muscle yourself. Do you remember anything of what happened, Muradin? Fate as turned ill in your absence.
Yorg Stormheart says: Not much, Magni. I've had nightmares of a human... tall... light hair... death black armor. His name rests on the tip of me tongue, but...
Yorg Stormheart says: ...Arthas.
Magni nods.
Magni Bronzebeard says: He's not the boy of your memories anymore, Muradin. He's become something else entirely.
Yorg Stormheart says: Aye, I know. I watched him turn... I watched him give up all that was right and I didn't lift a hand... I didn't even consider it until it was too late.
Brann Bronzebeard says: That's in the past, Muradin. Regrets won't change anything.
Yorg Stormheart says: No... no they won't. But I can make this right. I have te. I'm goin' after the boy. I'll make'm answer for everything he's done.
Magni Bronzebeard says: Are you sure Muradin? I just got you back after years of thinking you were dead. I do not want to lose you again.
Yorg Stormheart says: I'm sure, Magni. I'll see this through, don't ya worry.
Magni Bronzebeard says: So be it then. I have to return to my people, brothers. Come back to me in one piece.
Brann Bronzebeard says: Aye, be safe Muradin. I'd join you, but I'm on top of the most amazing discovery the world has yet seen. I can't abandon it now.

Be sure to follow Bronzebeard immediately to the left. If you afk for the flight back, or mount up and fly away, you'll miss getting credit for the quest.

There will be hostile dwarves that will jump on the other wing of the plane and attack it. If you're lazy like me, you can just CC the first guy that jumps on. More dwarves cannot jump on once there is already one there. Then you can kill him after you get out of the hole.

if you like ten hour speeches... this quest i for you... and dont think tatyou can go afk when you start flying.. there are guys that attach onto the plane and start attacking it if thats what you wanna call it

Seriously, kudos on handling/continuing old Warcraft lore in WotLK, Blizzard, this quest left me with goosebumps, and it's frigging chilling !

If you're a combat rogue, don't ever consider doing Killing Spree while on his flying machine. This will dismount you and you will fall to your death.

Quick tip also:

If you have low weapon skills for certain weapons .. use this quest to boost them up. Per run you can get rougly 50 skill ups without being hit.

Seeing as I'm a feral druid .. my weapon skills were very low. Managed to get 4 up to 350 +- within no time. So quite a nice 2- way quest ;d.

Keep in mind though .. by not killing the mob your ride will blow up making you plummet to your death or survive ( just ).

Fantastic outcome of this quest, great lore! I was enjoying until Brann uttered: "it's definately you". Sigh...

Wow! Definately one of the more enjoyable quest finishers. I am so happy that blizzard when with old warcraft lore for this expansion. It really ties in nicely with warcraft 3.

When the conversation is going on i believe the most epic part of the storm peaks music is also set to play. And when the conversation is over you get to see the other two Bronzebeard brothers slowly walk away and gradually vanish into the distance, all the while with the snow howling and music playing.

Truely an excellent end to one of the best quest lines in WOTLK.

No one seems to say something that I think is important. Completing this chain will unlock the daily named Pushed Too Far. Completing this daily gives you 250 reputation with The Frostborn.

This is a really hard quest to do if you are a hunter :(. Enemies on the airplane are all in melee range and really quite hard to kill.

Ret Paladins: you can Repentance the first mob that gets on the plane over and over and no more mobs will hop on. Much easier to enjoy the story this way, and you can just kill the one mob after you get out of the Engine of the Makers.

Tears. There are some great quest lines in Northrend, but I think this one may top them all.

Regarding completing this quest as a hunter, I didn't have a problem at all. Even BM specced, I just cycled Mongoose and Raptor Strike. They did hardly any damage to me, I never fell below 98% health.

If for some reason while doing this quest, you are forced to abandon it while you are still inside the engine, and you decide to wait for Brann to respawn, you are better off leaving the engine and going out.

I had this happen and WoW sort of put me in a phase were Brann isn't in there, I had to fly out and move around until I was in the phase were the Iron dwarves are fighting with the frostborn. Then when I entered the engine, Brann was there.

When all three were flagged blue I could buff them. I all gave Arcane Intellect, but it seems Magni is immune to it. Stubborn old lad. :)

The attackers don't do a lot of damage to you, but it appears that they will damage the plane.
If you don't kill them (or keep them feared as mentioned) you'll likely find that the plane will dump you outside, and you'll have to do it again.

...if you're a priest, Mind-Control the guy that jumps on the plane. If you're a warlock, Fear the guy. No other bad guys will jump onto the plane, so long as you don't kill the first one. Keep it feared or MC'd, and you're good to go.

At first I had to pass on this one because I could find no place to stand to get on the plane. Well as I wrote this I found that you really have to go up to the edge of the ice next to the wingtip to make it. Mobs jumped on the plane for about the first half of the trip, I just fought them as I normally would.

I don't understand why Blizzard made so many quests melee only. If you level as a hunter, especially if you get a new weapon in Northrend, you simply won't have the weapon skills to even hit the mobs let alone kill them. No traps, no volley, you just get dropped to your death. I had to spend a lot of time leveling weapon skills before even attempting this.
