Feral point of view.
Nice pair of gloves both for dps / tank.
If you got T6 gloves or have a guild which is doing MH, then I'd say t6 gloves beat these, since the t6 have more armor and a blue socket which i would prefer myself.

For dps, this would be a nice pair of gloves who can only be matched by T6 gloves, although these gloves gives more crit / hit if gemmed right while the t6 would give more ap.

The yellow socket would allow you to put an additional 8 resilience https://www.wowhead.com/wotlk/item=24053 or 8 defense https://www.wowhead.com/wotlk/item=24052 just assuming blue level gems, or you could go with a hybrid gem like https://www.wowhead.com/wotlk/item=24062 or https://www.wowhead.com/wotlk/item=33782 and gain some additional stamina too (this is assuming that you are using these for tanking). For kitty you are giving up a little strength, but the agility gives almost the same AP and more crit so that still makes these better. Either way this is a clear upgrade over T5, with the only thing you're giving up being armor while gaining stamina if gemmed that way and a lot more avoidance. Yea, you lose the set bonuses, but the 2 piece bonus isn't very useful for PVE anyway.

100 badges is a lot and if you are in a guild that can clear a couple of bosses in SSC then the T5 may actually be easier to obtain, but for those who can't clear SSC or TK, the new badge loot looks to be slightly better than T5.

Of course now that there is no longer an attunement required for BT or Hyjal people may think that everyone is going to be able to get T6, but just because you can get into BT or Hyjal doesn't mean that you can take down any of the bosses.

Really good tanking gloves, nice armor, good agility and stamina, gem socket should be used for stamina or dodge. Not shoure which i prefer from these or T5/T6...

For those of you doing Kara, ZA and daily HC's, save the badges for these gloves.

For tanking I would say these badge gaunts are better than T6.
66 armor and a little more damage is all you sacrifice - next to nothing.
There is also very little difference with the healing gloves you can get for badges and T6.

I bought the badge gaunts, and got T6 last night. I wish I hadn't as they cost me 80 DKP. What a complete waste of hard earned DKP.

If you have the badges and are working on a DKP system, I sincerely suggest you forget about T6 gaunts (unless you are going for the set bonus.) Save your DKP for the helmet !

For a feral tank that doesn't yet have acces to T6 content these gloves are excellent - socket with +5hit+5agi gem and enchant with +15agi and these are excellent for both DPS and tanking. However the T6 gloves should be picked up on first occasion, because nothing comes close to the 2 pieces T6 set bonus regarding tanking: +15% threat from mangle in bear form is FANTASTIC. And then keep these gloves for DPS and use T6 for tanking (+15sta gem and +15 agi enchant and u're done).

Comparison between these gloves and Nordrassil gloves: these represent a clear winner over T5.

At this point you should just do arena for a couple weeks even if you lose you can get S4 gloves pretty quickly and still have 75 badges in your pocket
