This thrown weapon, and other lower level one's sold by the same vendor, may just be your best choice if you want to stick with a thrown weapon as your range weapon of choice as a rogue. Between 50 and 60, and even after you get to Outlands, you may want to use this to bridge the gap before you get a better thrown weapon.
