Has anyone been able to get this yet? I want one for my 49 priest but I'm waiting to see where it actually drops (hopefully the 0.2% drop rate from relic coffers in BRD is based on preliminary/faulty data).

Ive been into the coffer room twice now and its only dropped once. I open every coffer when i go in there. Ill let you know if i find another one.

I have done about 30+ runs and I am yet to get one to drop at all. I now have to go back to farming keys.

i've been farming this (and Dark Iron Ring of " ") today. Here are a couple of observations:

Items are contained in Relic Coffers.
When the Relic Coffer box is opened, it does NOT have Group or Master loot options. The toon who loots from the box is the toon who gets the item.
Both of my drops today came from the last Relic Coffer looted (the box which agros the rock guys and the dwarf), not sure if this is consistent or not
If you're farming this for a twink, you MUST have your twink near by to loot the item. The Relic Coffer boxes de-spawn within about 3-5 minutes no matter if they have loot in them or not. So you cannot push your 70 to the coffers and do a check to see if clearing is worth it. I made this mistake today and lost myself a Fire Opal Necklace of the Eagle. QQ
i tend to see 1 blue every 10 runs or so, so maybe a 10% chance for the final chest to drop something? or can someone confirm multiple drops or drops from different boxes than the first?

I'm aware of the low drop rate but my group got two of these last night... on our first run and 0 from the next 3. mine was of the monkey perfect for my rogue.

I haven't tested this with the fat sack of coins but all of the other bags can be traded....so I'm going to keep running this on my main and hopefully trade some fat sacks of coins back to my warrior twink.

Prepare for hell, fellow twinkers.

Thankfully, a stealthie can do five runs in about 10 minutes (using the logout reset). With almost no effort (it is ridiculously easy at 60 to check coffers solo), you can at least check 55 keys per hour rather quickly (11 per run), so if you have the gold and patience, you will eventually succeed. You should actually see either a necklace or ring every other hour!

The tl;dr behind the math is that a 90%+ chance of obtaining a single perfect piece will run you in the mid thousands of keys for even the most common roll. To obtain all your coffer pieces, prepare for at least a thousand runs and over ten thousand keys.

There were fears of the chest despawning, so I went ahead and verified that the chests behave like every other chest in the game. That means, the following properties are observed:

- Once opened, a five minute despawn timer starts.
- The timer starts anew every time the chest is closed, not opened!
- Leaving the chest open will not pause the timer, it will despawn while open!
- As long as the coffer farmer sits at the chest to reset this timer, and others clear to it, there's no risk of losing the item to a despawn.
- The twink can enter the instance at ANY time and will be able to loot the chest (getting them there is the hard part).

Every animal roll has an 8/8, 8/9, and 9/8 variant. The calculations are for obtaining a "perfect" item (8/9 or 9/8).

I have obtained and fetched several of these pieces for multiple twinks, sometimes sitting for 90+ minutes resetting the chest constantly.

But it's obtainable, and players have it!
