As of patch 3.0.8, the Orgrim's Hammer Scout fliers are much slower than they used to be, which makes catching them very easy. The only challenge now is fighting off the Converted Hero packs the corpses often land close to.

Additionally, druids in flight forms can now use the dart item and not have to be mounted for this. Which means they can now swoop down and loot aforementioned items without having to be on a mount.

imho, there aren't enough quests which want alliance players to kill horde npcs... hopefully there will be a few more in the next expansion.

Despite our efforts, the Horde continues to send scouts to the area of the Icecrown Glacier, to the west of the Ironwall Rampart and Aldur'thar.

We can't afford to let the Horde gain the upper hand with this scouting operation. Take the dart gun with you again and show the Orgrim's Hammer scouts no mercy! Bring the captured dispatches to me.

The Horde's wasted efforts will be our gain.
