This is the start of a long quest chain with decent blue rewards. It involves a good deal of WoW lore, and is very easy to complete, just requires you to run around a lot. Skip to the last link if you want to see the rewards.

I know it takes a lot travelling from Crusaders Pinnacle to Brindenbrad but definitely do this chain. If not for lore than for this: total quest rewards at lvl80 is 219g 21s and 1980 reputation with Argent Crusade. Plus at the end you will recieve a blue item, of course

ok, to put it simple: do this quest chain. the whole thing. even if you don't have an epic flyer, which will make it a bit tedious, it's worth it...not for the end rewards (which a few are quite nice) but for the storyline, and the ending.

the end of this story actually moved me....seriously, it's pretty freaking cool.

however, i would like to say this: as you follow the quest chain, and what to do here on wowhead, DON'T read the dialogue that is said in game that's posted...follow the story as you do the quests. it's a very simple chain, and is actually able to be completed without ever going into combat.

kudos to Blizz on this chain...very touching.

Very specifically he's at 79.8, 30.8. By the way, this quest is a bit evil. A fire pit indeed...it's a friggin tiny campfire, I looked for this guy forever.

For those without epic flight, I would suggest using Bouldercrag's Refuge Flight Point in northwest Storm Peaks. You'll be doing ALOT of travelling for this quest chain. But, the story makes it worth the time.

(I would rank it the 3rd best quest chain in WoW, Wrathgate #1, and Lament of the Highborne #2.)

ive done this quest chain on alts before but now on my shaman i have done alot of the quests in icecrown and just now realized i havent done this quest chain its an awesome lore filled chain and i would like to do it does anyone know if there is something i missed somewhere else that will let me get this chain?

This quest is much easier now with 3.1 and the Argent Tournament flight path, as it is right next to Bridenbrad.

For those that didn't know, this quest line was a dedication to a one Brad Bridenbecker, brother to Rob Bridenbecker VP of Online Technologies. Brad had suffered from cancer and was an avid WoW player. His brother requested some memorial be set up for his brother and Chris Metzen, along with others, thought up this quest line to immortalize his battle with cancer within our beloved fantasy realm.

Hats off to you, Blizzard, Chris Metzen, and the whole Bridenbecker family. As a childhood cancer survivor myself, you have my utmost respect and loyalty to your honor and vision. You've truly epitomized the struggle of one going through the sickness, the battle, in the most accurate way possible, and bring honor to all of us who have suffered, and have watched those who have suffered, the same battle.

This Quest is an Epic Quest Line to Grief The Late Brother of Robert BridenBecker The VP, Online Technologies in Blizzard,,
His Brother was Passed away just Before WOTLK was out because of Cancer and he was WoW Player who Loved The Game,,
So Robert wanted to Give His Brother Somthing Special after his Death
so from here came the idea To Create an immortal image for Him Somthing To Make The People Remember Him Through this Quest Line
and i have to Say This Epic Quest Line was one of The Best and Most Memorized Quest Line i ever Done in WoW and Thats why i was Wondering whats the Point Behind This Quest Line

Highlord Tirion Fordring at Crusaders' Pinnacle has requested that you locate the hero, Crusader Bridenbrad at the Silent Vigil, in northeast Icecrown. His fire pit will likely be the most obvious indication of his location from the air.

Perhaps you've heard the praises for our missing hero?

Crusader Bridenbrad was in the Broken Front aiding the attack against the Scourge when the undead army came down upon them. The many men of that allied force scattered, but Bridenbrad alone returned and dragged more than a dozen men to safety, one by one through the carnage.

<class>, he has not returned since. He was spotted heading to the far northeast, towards the Silent Vigil. Bring him back to me that I might honor him for his valor.
