at this point the priest hawinni is bugged and has no Hp so you cant use the quest item on him.

Make sure when you use the stick to wait for it to finish channeling. I made this mistake and killed each of them like 2 times before I figured it out.

Not really useful facts, but the hexes that are applied to each of the NPC's when they die:
High Priest Mu'funu - Quetz'lun's Hex of Air (being spun to death)
High Priestess Tua-Tua - Quetz'lun's Hex of Fire (burning alive)
High Priest Hawinni - Quetz'lun's Hex of Frost (frozen solid)

anyone know if this quest sometimes glitches b/c i use the hex stick and wait for them to have the buff then kill them and its not registering their deaths?

ok, now when your doing this your in the underworld. meaning everythings dead. so how do you burn alive? and get spun to death?
to me this just doesnt work lol.

The hexes are...
death by falling.
burning to death.
And being frozen, followed by blowing up.

High Priest Hawinni never Died for me, I got credit for the hexx but
he kept on hitting me with 0 hp. Good thing my pally can take a beating,
had to run away to lose his aggro. Looks like Blizz has some Northrend bugs
to fix.

Just soloed this as a 75DK no problems... ..Just a note to add the last preist hawinni is a bit confusing to find just take left at quest giver and go to edge of level the large bezerker troll at the level below you....when done you can run back up the edge there and avoid the other mobs...

If the monster is stunned at the moment of death, you won't be able to watch the pretty animation :(

I didn't have any trouble finding Hawinni or Tua-Tua, I actually found Hawinni first but I can't find Mu'funu. o.O

i was searching for her (Hawinni) for over 10 minutes..
on the left & one Lvl down from the Q-giver i was seeing a type of gate that it looked like the place she would be but a normal berseker was there.
Killed it and after 1 minute she spawned.
so.. keep this in mind..just in case :\

Obviously bored blizzard employees played Mortal Kombat in their childhood... the freezing effect i believe did simulate one of Sub-Zero's fatalities...

Definitely one of the most disturbing and (in the case of spun to death), funniest quests in the game.

Spun to death: The troll is wrapped in a tornado and spun around to death. I chuckled at this one as I could just picture the troll saying "NOOOOOoooo"

Burnt to death: At first, wasn't very interesting. The kicker here is the charred corpse left behind, something I've never seen in WoW. Very creepy.

Frozen to death: Again, wasn't very interesting at first. After the duration ends the troll explodes quite violently, leaving a giant chunk of meat behind.

Coordinates are correct. However, after killing the first two I had to log out and in again to see Hawinni. She looks like a berserker and pats between the coordinates given: 75,54 to 78,54 on the lower level to the north of the quest giver. Did this the afternoon of 01Aug09.

sorry to go off topic for a while but the High Priest that burned to death realy reminded me of Zelda, i believe it was the zombies in OoT that looked amazingly much like that.

Hell Hath a Fury

Quetz'lun's Spirit at the Altar of Quetz'lun wants you to use Quetz'lun's Hexxing Stick upon High Priest Mu'funu, High Priestess Tua-Tua, and High Priest Hawinni. Once you have done this, slay them.
