Yeah, if you dont click water walking off, the knock back that smacks you over cliff kills you. So shamans click it off before you talk to him ^_^

Comments about clicking off waterwalking go for Path of Frost as well. Found that out the hard way.

Your conversation with Shaman Vekjik proceeds as follows.

Disgusting big-tongue friend, you no belong here. Go from Frenzyheart land or I call magic stuffs to kill you!

Shaman Vekjik, I have spoken with the big-tongues and they desire peace. I have brought this offering on their behalf.

Frenzyheart never be friends of big-tongues. You dumb to come back here traitor thing!

No no... I had no intentions of betraying your people. I was only defending myself. it was all a misunderstanding.

Shaman Vekjik says: Frenzyheart kill you if you come back. You no welcome here no more!

He then throws you into the lake. Fun times.

How do you get in there and talk to him without getting attacked? They're now hostile to me and i can't get in the village without getting attacked. Any suggestions on how to go about completing the quest?

I was on my mount on follow when my party member turned this in and I flew off the cliff also and died on the beach below. Just a heads up.

Hehe, as a druid I just shapeshifted back into bird the second he cast the spell. Stopped moving immediately, like a yard from his face :) TAKE THAT!

NOTE: You CANNOT outrun this, even on an epic flyer. So just stay still, otherwise you might end up landing in shallow water and dying.

OMG! I am a Death knight and i just had Path of Frost on for another Quest. guys u really don't wanna die for that, so take all water walking things off before u talk to him... for your repair bill

when he's casting the knockback, as a mage you can iceblock to "ignore it" having done this quest 3 times previously (and i like getting knocked into the water) i thought i'd see what sort of fun iceblock might afford me

Yeah, if you use Vanish right when he is about to finish casting the spell, nothing will happen, and you can just mount up and fly away without getting knocked into the water :P

if u are a dk and doing this quest, dont have path of frost enabled, you'll die then when you turn in the quest ^^

I remember doing some quests for the Frenzyheart before the Making Peace quest with the Oracles, but somehow I am already HATED by Frenzyheart Tribe (happened I guess when they caught me killing the Crocolisk on the previous quest) so when I get to the Shaman, he won't talk he just attacks and I end up dead. I don't even click on him, he just kills me. Any ideas or suggestions? Please comment here or at rtlph2@aol.com

Be sure you dont have path of frost on before doing this quest.... it might turn out to kill you ^^

You're not dismounted anymore, if you're on a flying mount you'll just end up hovering over the lake at a bit less then the altitude you were when the spell took effect.

With my last three characters, I have not been thrown at all. I just got close enough to be able to talk to him. Then, I turned my back to him before I talked. As soon as I talked, I started running down the hill. The quest completed and I avoided the unscheduled flight.

I did the Frenzyheart quests up to finding the tracker by the water, take him home, they're attacked by Frenzyheart and this is where I think I made my mistake...helped them kill them :( Now, I can't do the Oracle quests and am KoS to Frenzyheart lol..soooo lesson to you who read...DO NOT ATTACK, let them fight it out lol. /sniff
