According to recent Blizzard updates, they will be more hostile towards each other then the Aldors and Scryers are. They will also have the option to switch between the opposing factions by repeating a quest in which you choose the faction you wish to be a part of.

I think I'm going to side with the Oracles instead of the Frenzyheart. I don't know about anyone else, but to me the idea of FRIENDLY Murlocs is a nice change.

I started doing the puppyman quests without know about the different reps.
But after doing the quests they gave me one to talk to an injured oracle which in turn made me hostile with the puppymen and friendly with the oracles o.O

Blizzard felt they wanted you to be able to switch from Oracle to Wolvar with ease. The Mercenary of Sholazar achievment is intended to be given to those who betray one faction for the other,hence the name of the Achievment.

In order to begin gaining rep with The Oracles, complete the quest Fortunate Misunderstandings and continue thru that chain.

The pre-requisite to that chain is doing all of the frenzyheart quests. at that point you should have been honored with the frenzyheart tribe.

If you want Oracle Rep for their dailies, make sure Jaloot lives during the Arturious the Heartless fight. If you want Frenzyheart rep, make sure Zepnik (spelling) lives during the fight. Subsequently, its also how you swap rep from one tribe to the other, so once you get exlated with one, you can kill Arturious to swap to the other if you so desire.

yea i killed artruis the heartless to swap my rep to the oracles....i accidentally went frenzyheart...so i killed her. killed zepnik or whatever his name is...and then nothing happened...i still am unfriendly with the oracles..gah!

You have to pick up the quest from Jaloot after killing Zepnik and Artrurius to open up the Oracles dailies.

The same would hold true if you want to change rep from Oracles to Frenzy. Kill Jalot and Artrurius and pick up the quest from Zepnik.

to get the set of 3 random dailies offered, try to complete the chain for the frenzy tribe, then do Fortunate Misunderstandings...and then just try to complete EVERY Oracle quest u can. They'll soon open up if you're around level 76 or 77

The Oracles offer 3 Daily quests each day.
Note that all dailies listed below can be obtained at the Oracle camp at "Rainspeaker Canopy", which is located just right of the center of Sholazar Basin, northeast of the central lake "River's Heart."

Edit: Note that these quest levels do not mean you can't do the quests before that level - all daily quests may be completed once you finish the starter chain for the Oracles. (thanks pyro)

One will always be the level 77 quest:

One will be a level 78 "kill lots of wolvar" quest.

My attempt at clearing up confusion:

While in the process of completing the quest A Hero's Burden, both Jaloot (Oracle) and Zepik (Frenzyheart) will be summoned and "chained" by the boss. At this point, you KILL the opposing faction representative and keep the other one alive. If you wish to gain reputation with The Oracles, you must kill Zepik. If you wish to gain reputation with the Frenzyhearts, you must kill Jaloot.

After you kill off Jaloot/Zepik, you can continue to attack Artrius until he is dead. Once that quest is completed, Jaloot/Zepik will give you a quest to return to their respective villages. This will unlock your daily quests for that faction.

If they both die, or if you kill the wrong one, you can do the encounter again.

You can ONLY complete THREE daily quests from your faction of choice every day. Two of those three quests will rotate on a day-to-day basis, as they are selected randomly.

Appears to be 1700 rep a day (500 + 500 + 700 for the 3 dailies) with no other way to obtain rep. You need somewhere around 31000 total rep to get exalted (you start around 2000/12000 Honored), so you're looking at 19ish days of doing all 3 dailies for exalted.

I'm pretty sure I figured this whole problem out and I can't believe I didn't realize it. If you accidentally kill Jaloot and get honored with Frenzyheart, you will have to wait til the next day to kill Artruis. If you noticed, the quest you get from either Jaloot/Zepnik is a DAILY quest. So switching factions is a once a day thing. Just come back tomorrow and kill Artruis again for the daily to get rep with Oracles again, or Frenzyheart if you want to switch over to them from Oracles.

Okay guys... I messed this up. I accidently did a quest for the opposite faction when I want the oracles. I am currently unfriendly and I want my oracles rep back... do I have to do soem quests for the opposite faction now in order to get to the quest in which I should kill the lich guy? Ok so....

For all those who want to pledge their all allegiance to 'The Oracles'

Step 1 - Head to River's Heart, Once there grab the quest 'The Part-time Hunter' (https://www.wowhead.com/wotlk/quest=12654). It should tell you to find and kill 'Pitch' (https://www.wowhead.com/wotlk/npc=28097 < MAP) . After killing 'Pitch' grab his pelt (If you need it) And talk to the Wolfar 'Tracker Gekgek' who should have returned after running off when you engaged pitch. He will complain about you stealing his kill and then give you this quest 'Playing Along' (https://www.wowhead.com/wotlk/quest=12528)

Go up the the Frenzyheart town and hand it in, You should now be UNFRIENDLY with 'The Oracles' But it's ok! You gain about 13k Rep with them later on that shoots you up to Friendly.

Step 2 - You should be asked to complete a series of quests that are paired into 2's and are very similar to the Nesingwary quests, These are as followed -

First Two

'The Ape Hunter's Slave' (https://www.wowhead.com/wotlk/quest=12529)

Second Two

After handing in 'Hoofing It' the High-Shaman will ask you to find an injured Gorloc -

Find the Gorloc at https://www.wowhead.com/wotlk/npc=28217 and help him stand up. Kill the Crocolisk that appears and hand in the quest. Finally! Walah! You are now hated with the Frenzyheart and Friendly with The Oracles! If you want to stay Frenzyheart, simply don't hand this quest in. Now Escort the Injured Gorloc back to town and your done!

Apparently in order to get rep. with The Oracles you first start off with the Frenzyheart Tribe then the Frenzyheart have you do a quest which asks you to kill a hurt oracle but when you help it up a Frenzyheart comes by and thinks that you are a traitor and you are then honored with the Oracles and hated with the Frenzyheart

It took me a while to figure out what i had to do to get the Oracle dailies and this is what i came up with. This list contains some quests that are probably not necessary but you'll get some extra xp from them or money if you're already lvl 80. Or if you're in a hurry you could check out Wowheads own version of it(which i found after writing this >.< ): A Tale of Two Tribes

1. The Part-time Hunter. After killing Pitch one of the Frenzyheart Tribesmen(wolvar) will attack you. Defeat him and he'll give you a quest.

Before the next part you should decide which faction you want to choose. The Oracle or Frenzyheart Tribe. If you choose The Oracle, then kill Zeptik(wolvar). If you choose Frenzyheart Tribe, then kill Jaloot(gorloc).

26. A Hero's Burden. After you kill Artruis the Heartless your chosen ally will give you a quest which leads you back to the village where you can get your first dailies.

Hope someone can help me. I went back to the oracles to gain rep and realized that I am already honered with them. When I had quested I did all the available quests in this area.

I have already kill artrius the heartless. I can not seem to access the dailies to gain more rep. So I thought well maybe I need to go back to the quest where you kill pitch the lion... as I never did that. but after killing him there was not quest to get. Also I tried to esscort the rainspeaker oracle and was unable. So...I do not really know what to do or where to begin to gain my rep here.

Hope someone can shed some light on this. Thank you!

I have spent two days trying to figure this out.

Here’s what I think:

1. I agree with some blogging that the switch from Frenzyheart (FH) to Oracle (OC)is not a mistake but part of the quest chain/lore.

2. Like many people, at the end of the FH chain, I ran into the injured OC just north of FH Hill. This faction switched surprised me, so I stop doing that quest line thinking I would only make matters worse.

3. The blogs don’t really give the full story, but that may be because they weren’t in the exact same situation.

4. When you switch factions (intentionally or otherwise), you assume zero pts at the level you were at with the other faction. For example, half Honored with FH will get you Honored with zero accomplished with OC.

5. Artrius is bugged. I believe it happens when someone starts the fight before the FH and OC NPCs appear.

Here’s what I know:

1. I had completed most/all of the FH chain and then accepted/completed an OC quest that switch my fraction to OC.

2. At that point, I visited all the OC villages and attempted to speak to all the OC ‘talking’ NPCs. No luck.

3. If you return to just north of FH Hill, there are a few Injured Rainspeaker Oracle. There is no “!” over them initially, but they are ‘speakable’. Get them to stand up and then they offer you an escort quest to Rainspeaker Canopy.

4. You can then complete the entire OC quest line. Several of the quest giversare summoned from items in your bag. Without these NPCs in summoned form, you cannot advance the quest line.

5. One of these summoned NPCs is Moodle. Because he is a summons, it apparently doesn’t register well on the Thottbot, Wowhead etc sniffers. The on-line info is VERY sparse.

6. Only at the end of the quest line do you get A Hero’s Burden, which is required when you kill Artrius.

7. Be sure you kill the right faction NPC. You want to kill the the NPC of the side you are switching FROM.

8. If you leave Sholazar, the item disappears from your bag and you cannot summon Moodle. Upon renetoering Sholazar, you can obtain another item from High oracle Soo-say to summon Moodle.

I got kinda confused by this faction so here is a compilation of all the info you need to know to set yourself up for gaining Oracle rep.

First get the quest The Part-time Hunter which asks you to kill Pitch. You don't really need this quest but might as well.

When you kill pitch an NPC standing right next to you will offer you the quest Play Along. This is not a chain from the Part-time Hunter quest but a quest you pick up right as you kill Pitch. So you should be accepting this quest BEFORE you turn in Part-time Hunter. This quest starts the chain to set you up with either Oracles or Frenzyheart Rep.

Now here's the important part. This quest chain will lower your oracle rep while increasing your Frenzyheart rep. Don't sweat it. Do all the quests in the Frenzyheart Camp you should have your Frenzyheart rep all the way to Honored now.

At the end of the Frenzyheart Chain you will get the quest Just Following Orders. This quest will have you betray the Frenzyheart this will send your rep with them to hated and move your Oracles rep to Friendly. You are now set to run all the quests in the oracle camp.

Finishing that quest chain will get you the quest A Hero's Burden. This is a Group quest that determines who you go with for rep. SO MAKE SURE YOUR GROUP WANTS THE SAME FACTION!

For this quest there are two npcs chained to a big baddy npc. The Frenzyheart NPC Zepik the Gorloc Hunter and the Oracles NPC Jaloot. You have to kill one. Kill the faction you want to betray. So if you want to be Oracles kill Zepik. If you want to be Frenzyheart Kill Jaloot.

When the big baddy npc is dead the one npc alive (the faction npc you didn't kill) will remain with a blue ! above his head. Complete the blue ! quest will set your rep to Honored with your faction. Immediately get the Gold ! that appears after which sends you back to your factions Camp.

You have now completed the pre-reqs and can do the dailies of your faction. There are 8 different dailies but only 3 are available per day.

Hope this clears up any confusion you might have had with getting oracles rep set up.

I'm having trouble unlocking the daily quests. Im a Northren loremaster, I have low level quest tracker on and I cannot find any quests in the area. Any help is appreciated! Im stuck at 1101/12000 honored.

I helped horde kill the kel thuzad wannabe and then turned in the blue quest so I guess thats a GG on that. I will try again when dailys reset >.<

I still had the quest to kill the Lich guy and when he died I by accident accepted the frenzyheart rep. When the guy respawned , i realized what i had done and killed zepik instead... but when the fight was over Jaloot wouldnt give be any rep or quests or anything... so now im still left hated by Oracles! Personally i would do the Frenzyheart first for the achievement, and then convert into oracle, cause the trinket is better and the mysterious egg hatches companions, and rarely a mount

just wondering if anyone has tried to do the oracle dailies then kill the elite but killing Jaloot instead... Switching your rep to the Frenzies. Then could you not do the Frenzy rep dailies? Getting your rep up faster, just wondering? or is there a loss of rep when you switch?

Ok, all these posts are confusing people. Here's a summary with the correct information:

Kill Pitch, then do all the quests that open up. The reputation from these quests allows you to buy Friendly rep items with the Frenzyhearts. You are Hated with the Oracles.

You eventually complete the quest Just Following Orders. This makes you Hated with the Frenzyhearts and allows you to do a chain of Oracles quests. This chain allows you to buy Friendly rep items from the Oracles.

At the end of the Oracles chain, you get A Hero's Burden, a quest to kill Artruis the Heartless, who sends a Frenzyheart and an Oracle NPC against you. During the fight, you must kill one of them. Leave the other one alive. The surviving NPC gives you a daily quest that makes you 0/12000 Honored with his own faction and Hated with the other. Once that's done, daily quests open up that grant 1700 rep per day. Completing these daily quests is the only way to get Revered and Exalted reputations.

If you complete A Hero's Burden, but can't access the daily quests, it means that you messed up on the quest that you get after you kill Artruis. Wait a day, then kill him again. Make sure that you only kill one of the two NPCs he sends at you, and that you pick up the quest immediately after Artruis dies.

To switch factions, kill Artruis again, let the other NPC survive, and take his quest. This puts you at 0/12000 Honored with your new faction, and hated with your old. You can then do daily quests with the other faction. You may switch factions only once per day. You must complete A Hero's Burden before you can switch.

Getting the Mercenary of Sholozar achievement requires that you get Exalted reputation with both factions, but only one at a time. You are always hated with one of them.

The Disgusting Jar from the Frenzyhearts eventually turns into a Ripe Disgusting Jar, which contains potions, booze, or a Frenzyheart Brew, which turns you into a Wolvar.

The Mysterious Egg of The Oracles eventually turns into a Cracked Egg, which can contain food, one of four companion pets, or Reins of the Green Proto-Drake.

After you switch factions, you can not wear items that require reputation with the former faction. You do get to keep spells you learn for the jewelcrafting recipes, the pets, and the mount. The Frenzyheart Brew keeps working, too.

While doing these quest chains, you get an item that lets you summon an Oracle or Frenzyheart guardian pet to assist you while you are in Sholozar Basin. Once you start the repeatable quests, you get to choose which guardian pet you wish to have with you.

There are no meaningful rewards available at Honored. They all require Friendly, Revered, or Exalted.

Right there seems to be a lot of confusion about this and I couldnt find anything totally clear when I did it so, to pick faction:

- Kill Pitch.
- Pick up the quest Just Playing Along from the frenzyheart that was trying to kill Pitch.
- Follow the questline introducing you to the frenzyheart tribe (most bits require you to complete two quests before unlocking the next). You will end up friendly with frenzyheart and hated with oracles, don't worry about it it's not permanent.
- Eventually you will get the quest Just Following Orders, talking to the oracle spawns a croc, kill the croc and you will become friendly with the oracles, starting the second part of the chain.
- Follow the chain (again most times you need 2 quests to unlock next bit) introducing you to the oracles. again, you will end up in good standing with oracles and hated with frenzyheart.
- Eventually after all that you get the quest A Hero's Burden. During the fight a frenzyheart and an oracle spawn. Just kill the add of the faction you do NOT want to support.

At this stage you will unlock the dailies for the faction you want to be aligned with.

i went to kill the frost guy and i accidently killed jaloot and even accepted the frenzyheart tribe quest. had to wait till 3 am to do it again to put me back to oracles, and i lost half of my rep through honored. dont make that mistake

Say I have gained exalted with Oracles and wish to switch to Frenzyheart for achievment. And after that back to Oracles again... Will my Exalted with oracles preserve or will it be switched back to honored after the 2nd switch.
I mean I understand it will go to hated when i switch to Frenzy but Im interested what will it be when i switch back..

I did the the entire chain starting from Pincer till the "A Hero's Burden" and i was killing the Lich (not knowing about the reputation thing) then suddenly a damn horde comes and kills the Jaloot (oracle one) and finally we killed the Lich, then the Zepik gives the quest (which needs to be turned in at FrenzalH tribe) which i unknowingly turned the quest at FH , and got honored with FH, thereby getting hatred with oracle... then i realised that i had to kill the Zepik to gain rep with Oracle.... now, how do i change my faction to Oracles, and get Hatred to FHs?

i tried killing the Lich again and killing the Zepik and after the fight, Jaloot doesnt give me the quest... i did that at 4 PM Server Time, then after reading that it was like a daily, re-did at 4 AM Server Time same day, but still no luck... i killed the lich a million times in this time duration but jaloot doesnt give me a quest... is it that i have to wait for 24 hrs? ...

is it possible to gain faction with Oracles then? plz reply,.. and HOW?

I did the quest where you fight a guy and Frenzy Heart asks you to join them back. I stayed with Oracles and now I have no quests to do for them.

You dont get any reputation by killing any mob, you can get reputation only doing the dailys so you need from Honored to Revered: 8 Days and from Revered to Exalted: 13 Days (depends if you are human)

I was revered with Oracles, picked up my egg from them, and switched to Frenzyheart. I went to exalted with them, and then switched back to Oracles and now i'm 0 at honored, in other words I lost 12k rep from switching. I read that it saves your latest tier of rep but that isn't the case. I'm not sure how it works but if you switch factions before you're done with one, you can get screwed over like I did.

I have done all the normal quests with them, and I have chosen the Oracle side in the daily quest where you choose side, still I only get 1/3 of the daily quest I should get. I checked the achievement where you have to do all the daily quests with the Oracles, and searched for them on wowhead, and the I found out who gave the quests, found them, and didn't have them for me. To make finding the quests I needed to pick up easier, I did a little filtering:

Sorted by Database > Quests > Northrend
-Increases reputation with... The Oracles
--and then sorted by required level so I know when I can pick up each quest as I level.

The Oracle "Mysterious Egg" is definitely worth grinding for Revered. I was very very fortunate, and got the Reins to a Green Proto-Drake in my first egg (2% chance of drop). Got a whelp companion in the second. I will keep going until I have all the companions for achievement then switch to Frenzyheart. Good luck in yours!

The Frenzyheart Tribe is one of the two main factions in Sholzaar Basin (the other being The Oracles). To earn reputation to exalted with either reputation, you must first begin this quest: https://www.wowhead.com/wotlk/quest=12528. This begins a quest in which you act as a slave to repay the Frenzyheart Tribe for their stolen kill. This quest line will earn you reputation towards the Frenzyheart Tribe. Now if you have already looked at the Oracles' rewards and the Frenzyheart Tribe's rewards, you probably will prefer the Oracles' rewards more (four pets and a proto-drake), vs. the one transformation item that the Frenzyheart offer. Do not worry: This quest line must be done to earn reputation with either faction.

When you begin this quest line, you will first start off by earning the reputation of the Frenzyheart. You will continue their series of quest lines, until you get to the point that you save the Oracle. Accepting this Oracle's quest will make you hostile/hated with Frenzyheart but friendly with The Oracles. You will then follow their series of quest lines to earn reputation with the Oracles.

You will finally come to the final quest of the series: https://www.wowhead.com/wotlk/quest=12581. In this quest, you will fight an elite that doesn't do too much damage, but unprepared foes may have trouble. During this fight he will have standard damage, with Frostbolts and melee; but at 30%, he shields himself and releases two prisoners: An Oracle and a Frenzyheart. This is where you choose which faction you want; you will kill your enemy (whichever you choose), and then your new ally will help you defeat Artruis. After killing Artruis, the saved ally will become a quest-giver. The ally will give you a DAILY quest that makes you 0/12,000 honored with the ally's faction, and the proportionally-opposite reputation for the faction of the enemy that you killed. Upon completing this daily quest, you will be able to go back to the faction's base camp and do three daily quests that will earn you reputation. There is a total of 8 daily quests, three of which appear each day. There is one daily quest for each reputation that is always shown every day, and then a daily quest that is chosen from a random four. This daily quest will be a random task that is done in the Basin. The final third daily is a random choice of three. These three dailies are quests that command you to kill 30 or 50 mobs of the opposing faction using different methods. This genocidal daily quest will give you 700 reputation each day (no matter which daily), and the other two dailies will give 500 reputation each (1700 each day -- at most 20 days of doing all three dailies a day will get you 999/1000 exalted.

The faction that you choose can be changed. In order to change your decision (no matter the reputation you have currently), if you redo the Artruis event saving the NPC of the faction you want, you will become 0/12000 honored of that faction. NOTE: Redoing this quest and choosing the faction that you are affiliated with currently will reduce your reputation to 0/12000 honored, even if you are higher than that. Also note that switching factions, and then switching again (example; Oracles -> Frenzyheart -> Oracles) will still leave you at 12000.

So now you know the basics. Which reputation do you choose?
The main reason people earn reputation with these factions is to purchase the egg or jar that presents the user with a reward after 7 days. The egg is from the Oracles and the jar is from the Frenzyheart.
There are four companion pets that are available from The Oracles. These pets will be easily found in the egg that is bought at revered. However, these pets are not bind-on-pickup, and therefore can be bought/sold via the AH. There are also two other awards: A proto-drake mount, that has a ~5% chance to drop from the egg, and aged yolk, a food item that is like normal food.
The jar rewards level 70-type potions (mana, health or rejuvenation) but also has a chance to drop https://www.wowhead.com/wotlk/item=44719, which disguises the person who uses it.

There are also five achievements associated with these factions. Two of which require you to earn exalted with the respective factions, and the third requires you to earn exalted with both (not at the same time). The fourth and fifth require you to do all 8 dailies of each faction.

Now personally, I chose Frenzyheart first because I wanted the Mercenary of Sholzaar achievement and I knew the Green Proto-Drake would take some time for me to get. Once I finished all 8 daily quests and got exalted, as well as got the brew I switched to the Oracles. I currently have all the pets and am waiting on the proto-drake. Once I get exalted and the drake, I think I will switch back to Frenzyheart as the daily that requires me to kill the Oracles lets me kill mobs that drop clams that give me pearls.

OK I read every posting I could find on how to switch from frenzyheart to oracles. I went and killed zepik in the cave and Jaloot didnt have a quest to offer me. Killed him three times to be exact. Still nothing. So I read some more. My rep with frenzyheart was friendly and rep with oracles was hated. I decided it must have something to do with the fact that I was only friendly with frenzyheart and that maybe I needed to get honored first. So, I started searching for dailies to do. No one that was supposed to offer me quests did. Finally I found a post that said that if you couldnt pick up any quests you needed to start with Elder Harkek in the center of the Frenzyheart tribe by the campfire. So, I went to him and whaddya know...he gave me a horn to summon Zepik. I picked up the two quests from Zepik did them and turned them in, picked up one other that turned in at Harkek and instantly was honored with Frenzyheart. As soon as that happened, I ended up with a quest to go talk to this injured oracle right across the way from the Frenzyheart tribe location. I dont know exactly where I got the quest from, if Harkek gave it to me, which i doubt since it's a different faction, or if it just ended up in my log as result of becoming friendly with frenzyheart coupled with the fact that I had just killed zepik the other day, but I went to the injured oracle and turned in the quest and boom hated with frenzyheart honored with oracles. Now I can pick up Oracle quests and all is right with the world. Hope this helps anyone else that's sort of caught in the cracks between factions.

Here is how its done.

1.) Go kill https://www.wowhead.com/wotlk/npc=28097
2.) You will be taken to the Frenzyheart Tribe. Keep doing all the quests there.
3.) After about all of their quests you will be around Honored with the Frenzyheart. Don't be disappointed. You have to do all the quests with the Frenzy before you can go to the oracles.
4.) Eventually you get a quest to help an Injured Gurloc. Continue his quest line. After awhile you will be given a quest to kill https://www.wowhead.com/wotlk/npc=28659
5.) While killing The Heartless he will bring up a shield to protect him and make you kill either A.) An Oracle or B.) A Frenzyheart.
6.) Kill the Frenzyheart and the Oracle should give a quest. You can change reputation daily by re-killing The Heartless and choosing either side to kill. The opposite will enjoy you saving them and you will be friendly with them.

I was in Dalaran last night looking for Matron Aria to do the "Little Orphan Roo of the Oracles" quest when I remembered to check on my precious little green egg. I was still facing Matron Aria when my egg hatched and to my ultimate surprise, I got the "Green Proto-Drake" mount. I was just staring at it for a long time without moving or saying anything until reality just knocked me out of my feet and I started yelling and running around Dalaran saying "I am a proud owner of a green proto-drake". :) A friend was online at that time and I told him my good news and he was like "OMG! you are very lucky. This mounts has 2% chance of dropping." He then said he already got 8 eggs and all he got was birds. Anyways, I would just like to tell everyone that it really does drop and if you're lucky, you'll get the mount.... Ohhhh by the way, I still can't use it as I don't have 5000g to train to ride this mount :( but one day I will and when I do, I will definitely enjoy my Green Proto-Drake :)

Just one comment on the daily quests if you've gotten to that point. One of the earlier posters stated that there are three daily quests but that only one could be done per day. Nothing could be further from the truth. In fact, unless you want to work on rep for the next three months you had (better) do all three. He may have thought that all of the quests end where they began, also untrue. As far as I've seen, none of them do. Just read the quests and get the maximum per day, this game is slow enough as it is.

If you have any plans on farming ANYTHING when you get to 80, then choosing the Oracle and getting Exalted rep status is almost a must for smoother farming. The only reason why you NEED this faction for farming?

If you're stuck it means you haven't completed the chain - if you hover over the quests on the link above you'll see some of the quests say something like "If you lose , speak to in ." - you basically need to work out where you are in the chain by speaking to the relevant NPC to attempt to get the item that allows you to continue the chain (the item you receive allows you to summon an NPC quest-giver/receiver). Hope that helps :)

I messed up, I took Heroe's Burden as a regular quest and soloed the boss and ended up killing the wrong add. I worked to get Oracles to 2664 of 12000 honored and then it said, something something Honored with frenzy, I can't tell you how ^&*!ed I was, How stupid. I must have done the quest a dozen time thinking there was something I wasnt doing right to reverse it. I tried the next day, today, and I chose the correct add, jaloot-I kept alive and killed the other one, and after Artrius the Heartless was dead, a blue quest giver mark appeared over jaloots head, and the 2664 honored was returned to me. It must be a daily quest for it to be switched from faction to faction....sigh, so happy.

Killing members of the other faction (frenzyheart if you are on the oracles side and vice versa) will lower your rep with them further, but gain you rep with the side you are on. if you want to switch after you get exalted to get the achievement (exalted with both) or the mysterious egg etc., i suggest doing the other two dailies that don't involve killing the other faction so you have less rep to get back.

There are 8 quests which are randomized each day, and you get one per questgiver, per day (3 in total per day for either faction, 1 of which involves killing the other faction and 2 which dont).

So I went a few months without paying attention to Oracles reputation and I apparently destroyed the crystal and abandoned the quests... I've been all over the entire Basin and can't find any quests. I thought maybe it was that I needed my little guy out to get quests and so I went and got him and still no quests for me. Other comments say I need Moogle to advance very far but the only one I can get is Jaloot. I'm stuck with Jaloot and he gives me no quests and neither do the Lightningcaller or the Soo-say guy. I'd really like to continue on with my Oracle rep but I don't see any way that I can. Please help!

(Also, I'm level 80, so it's not that I'm too low for anything....)

In case anyone is lost, finished the questline and don't know how to start the dailies...Go to the cave in and pull Artruis and this will direct you on getting the dailies started. Just go there to the cave (even if you have no quest) and kill the faction you want for rep, I killed the one on the right for Oracle rep + dailies
