Don't know if it's just me but they seemed to have changed the appearance a bit. At least it looks less green to me than it used to, slightly easier to spot then on the screenshot, just made one myself and going to submit it in a minute (you can easily make out light blue and purple flowers on it now).

Can be in high demand due to +Int and +spell dmg potions. It is needed to make the mid level ones, and may be valuble to twinks or leveling.

Great area for getting Blindweed as well as leveling herb skill up.spent a matter of only a couple of hours and a handful of laps around and walked away with 5 full stacks of the stuff.also leveled my skill from 235 to 290 in that time.

As soon as you hit 235 herbalism skill, Blindweed is the only thing you will ever need to farm before Outland and, in theory, even Northrend. I wouldn't recommend the latter until you get at least 350 skill however, since the skill requirement for Frozen Herbs varies between zones, and the quantity is extremely scarce to begin with.

Blindweed is an excellent source of income when you combine it with Arthas' Tears to make Gift of Arthas. You can sell these potions at AH for a good profit. I farm blindweed and Artha's tears once per day for my daily quest, to raise money for fatty w00t.

Currently only found in abundance in the Swamp of Sorrows, within the Eastern Kingdoms.

Swamp of sorrows. make oval shaped loops in northern portion om map. So, north of stonard and north of the lake. Just make long loop and you will find a lot....if its not being farmed too harsh.

Swamp of Sorrows has plenty of Blindweed, but there is a good supply of Khadgar's Whiskers, Liferoot, and Goldthorn, occ Kingsblood, rare fadeleaf. There's many mobs, but at lvl 44 priest, I had little trouble dealing with them. It would probably be deadly to anyone with a lvl lower than 40.
