Not in beta, but I would assume that these goggles are a crafted "random enchant" item.

If so these will be a very nice item for leveling to 80 as they only require 400 engy (25 past BC cap) and level 72. BUT they do still maintain a meta socket for further customization of the presumed random enchant mechanic.

This helm is clearly suited for balance druids, but it's interesting to note that no armor class has a caster helm with regeneration stats. Unless there is a drastic change to regeneration in the expansion i have a feeling that healing engineering helms are on the way.

Plate wearers don't even have a caster helm at all...

Broken down, the mats to make these bad boys are:

1 Frozen Orb - last boss of Heroic instances, or AH (like Primal Nethers from TBC)

4 Eternal Life - herbalists, or AH

4 Heavy Borean Leather - Skinners or AH (6x Borean Leather = 1x Heavy B.L.)

2 Forest Emerald - mining, prospecting, or AH

8 Titanium Bar - created via smelting or alchemist transmutes
Per Bar Transmute Mats:
- 2 Cobalt Bars (1 ore = 1 bar)
- 8 Saronite Bars (2 ore = 1 bar)
- 2 Crystallized Life (herbalist, AH)

Total Titanium Transmute mats:
- 16 Cobalt Bars
- 64 Saronite Bars
- 16 Crystallized Life

If you want to be sporting these as soon as you can make them, then start scouting the AH early and regularly, and maybe you can find some deals on the mats. At the one week after the release mark, mats are ridiculously high, so these will likely cost a very pretty penny.

If you are don't have access to titanium ore, I suggest offering to buy alchemy transmutes in trade -- that usually works well, since someone is always to looking to level alchemy, and it also might give them a discovery. :)

If you're making these thinking that they're as good as the goggles in TBC were compared to Tier 4, you're sorely mistaken.

The stats on these goggles are overshadowed by this helm, a drop in Heroic Utgarde Keep.

I would recommend saving your money and simply getting belt spynoculars for the ability to track mote clouds.

So of course these are BoP. But if I drop Engineering can I still wear them? I notice there's no requirement listed here, but I haven't seen them in-game to make sure.

are they going to come out with lvl 80 version of these goggles? they did in the BC exp. cuz there r lvl 62 epics, and then 70 epics. so if/when will that happen for these goggles too?
