This is a healers ring.
MP5 = healers ring.
We wont roll on your rings with hit rating so why do DPS casters insist on rolling on our items with MP5

volrathy, if I would agree with you, witch I dont, then this would be a holy-pally / resto-shamy ring and not a "healers" ring per se. Priests and Druids get the spirit versions, right? While dps-caster get the +hit rings, right?

But now lets look at why I disagree with your apriori attempt to dictate lootdistrubtion, shall we?

Your average raid will have 2-3 healer types, 2+ Dps-Caster types. According to you, the 2 rings with mp5 and I am guessing the 2 rings with spirit "belong" to the healers, while the 2 rings with +hit belong to the dps-casters. For simplicitys sake lets assume 2 healers, 2 dps-casters. That would be 2/3rds of the rings that drop in Naxx belong apriori to healers and I am not having that.

I personaly gain almost nothing from haste, running a crit-reliant build and as I am currently hit over-capped by 2% without needing enchants (where I have an option, like hands for example), trinkes or gems and further gear-upgrades all come with a hefty increase in hit - every point of hit is compeltly wasted for me.

While the same is true for spirit and to a large extent for mp5 this ring for example is my best ring-dps upgrade before setting a foot into 25 man raids. But dont be sad, I am going to roll need on Timeworn Silken Band (the 2nd best ring for my specc / equip) too, and that has spirit :>

But all of this is moot. If you pug raids, everyone is going to roll for an item that is at least an noticable upgrade, and no one is going to give a damn about what someone on wowhead said or that random dude next to him needs as well. This ring alone would be 35 (or 1,2%) dps increase at the moment over the +hit rings available from naxx, for my equip and specc, and I deem that worthy enough to roll need on it and if that angers some one, I will forget that the second I see the dps increase.

On the other hand: If you raid with your guild, there better be some kind of loot distribution mechanism that makes sure the items go to those people who will benefit the most from them - and I guess this will be independent of comments left on wowhead as well. (:

Holy Paladins do not have any gear related with spirit for a reason.
Everything is filled up with MP5 just check out the valorous parts.
<3 holy pally and resto shamans over dps and other healers to be fair.
And the spirit version also applies for locks and other classes nowadays, like locks with the fel armor benefiting from spirit

Very good DPS/Healer ring! Lack of spirit might disapoint druids but it replaces the spirit with some needed Mp5 and nice Crit bonus.
