Though not taken in raiding builds, it's highly recommended to pick up Lichborne early when leveling. As your Death Coil can be cast on your self when it's active, to convert spare Runic Power into healing whenever you're in danger of dying.

Not only is Unbreakable Armor an incredibly powerful DPS cooldown, it also functions as a strong personal defense cooldown against physical damage, especially when used with Icebound Fortitude, don't be afraid to use it defensively!

Don't be afraid to pull multiple mobs, Death Knights excel at killing multiple targets, just make sure to spread your diseases through Pestilence and Death Strike instead of using Obliterate if you're in danger of dying.

As you level up you will gain access to stronger gear and stronger quest rewards. Don't stick around running a low level dungeon hunting for a specific drop, just move on with the leveling process and you are likely to find something else along the way.

Glyph of Frost Strike- Frost Strike is a large portion of your single target damage, and being able to cast more of them makes this Glyph Invaluable, even at level 80.

Glyph of Disease- Arguably the best Frost Death Knight glyph, both at 70 and 80, the ability to refresh your diseases using only a Blood Rune means you get an extra Obliterate instead of having to Icy Touch and Plague Strike.

Glyph of the Ghoul- This glyph provides a small damage boost to your summoned ghoul, depending on how much strength you have. This glyph is an alright gap filler until 80.

Glyph of Icy Touch- This glyph provides a small boost to your Frost Fever disease, which is not a large portion of your damage as Frost, but is an alright gap filler until 80.

Glyph of Horn of Winter- Being able to keep your Horn of Winter up for longer doesn't entirely matter, as you'll often still press the button for the free Runic Power it provides, but having the option not to is nice when GCD capped.

Glyph of Pestilence- This is the only minor glyph that provides a tangible dps increase, as it will allow you to spread your diseases to targets that would otherwise be out of range.

Glyph of Raise Dead- Never be caught without Corpse Dust again!
