Your first quest as a Death Knight is In Service Of The Lich King, in which The Lich King requests that you report to Instructor Razuvious.

Instructor Razuvious gives you The Emblazoned Runeblade. He requests that you pick up a Battle-worn Sword, and to use it on a Runeforge to craft a Runebladed Sword. Once finished, return to him.

Once you turn in that quest, you are granted Runeforging. Instructor Razuvious will give you Runeforging: Preparation For Battle, which requests you to reforge your Runed Soulblade with a Rune of your choosing. Once finished, return to him.

The next quest is The Endless Hunger, in which he commands you to kill an Unworthy Initiate. Head to the circle in the center of the room to find them. Click on the skulls behind them to release them, they will become hostile after some RP. Kill whichever one you choose, and return to him.

He will then give you The Eye Of Acherus, in which you will return to the The Lich King.

The first quest you will get is Death Comes From On High. You will select one of the two alters behind him to the left or right, and take control of the Eye of Acherus. You will fly around to the different check points, and analyze them by using your ability in the first spot on your action bar. The second ability will summon ghouls on the ground at a targeted location, distracting the Crusaders to allow you to channel easier. The third ability will cloak you, but will break if you use any other spells. Once you've analyzed every building, you can leave the eye.

You will then receive The Might Of The Scourge in which he request you report to Highlord Darion Mograine who is located on the other level. You can reach him by taking the glowing circle at the bottom of the stairs to teleport there.

After an introduction with Highlord Darion Mograine, he will give you Report To Scourge Commander Thalanor to report to Scourge Commander Thalanor. When you're done talking to Highlord Darion Mograine, speak to Lord Thorval who is behind him. He will give you The Power Of Blood, Frost And Unholy which is an auto turn in quest. You can get to Scourge Commander Thalanor by taking the teleporter back to the other floor. He will be where The Lich King once was.

Scourge Commander Thalanor gives you one quest for now, and that's The Scarlet Harvest. You'll take one of the dead gryphons behind him to fly down to Death's Breach to report to Prince Valanar.

Death's Breach

Pick up If Chaos Drives, Let Suffering Hold The Reins from Prince Valanar, Grand Theft Palomino from Salanar the Horseman, and Tonight We Dine In Havenshire from Orithos the Sky Darkener. After picking up all 3 quests, you'll head on down to Havenshire, which is the village at the bottom of the southern ramp. You'll want to start by killing Citizen of Havenshire pinned by the arrows. You'll need to kill 10 of these npc's, and collect 15 Saronite Arrow around the camp. While you do this step of the quest, you'll want to kill 10 Scarlet Crusaders around the camp as well. While you're running around looking for Saronite Arrow, you'll want to stop by first house, there is a Abandoned Mail on top of the mailbox which grants you Abandoned Mail. Once you've done all 3 of those thing, you'll go right click one of the horses at the Farm. Careful not to aggro Stable Master Kitrik, who will pull you off your horse if you do. Run the horse back to Salanar the Horseman. Turn in Grand Theft Palomino first.

Salanar the Horseman will give you another quest, Into the Realm of Shadows. Salanar the Horseman will port you into the Shadow realm, and you'll run down the southern ramp again to find a Dark Rider of Acherus. After killing him you can mount his horse, and you'll run it back to Death's Breach. Use your ability to call forth Salanar the Horseman. Upon turning this quest in, you will be granted your class specific mount Acherus Deathcharger.

Turn in If Chaos Drives, Let Suffering Hold The Reins and Tonight We Dine In Havenshire, and then pick up Death's Challenge

Olrun the Battlecaller will give you Death's Challenge, in which he challenges you to duel 5 Death Knights. They can be found scattered around Death's Breach.

Once done with all of the quests above, you'll grab Gothik the Harvester, in which Prince Valanar requests you meet with Gothik the Harvester. He is located next to Olrun the Battlecaller.

The first quest he will give you is The Gift That Keeps On Giving, which requires you to had to the mine at the bottom of the northern ramp and use Gift of the Harvester on Scarlet Miner. It will either create a Scarlet Ghoul or a spirit which is hostile. When you collect 5 Scarlet Ghoul, return to Gothik the Harvester.

Gothik the Harvester will give you An Attack Of Opportunity, to report to Prince Valanar.

Prince Valanar will give you Massacre At Light's Point, requesting you to go back down to the mine and hop in a mine cart. The mine cart is located near the top entrance of the mine, right next to the outhouse. Then one of the miners will drag the cart onto one of the ships by the bay. You'll use the cannons on the ship to shoot at the Crusaders on the beach. When done, select your ability to fly back to Death's breach and turn in the quest.

Victory At Death's Breach! is the next quest in line. Prince Valanar has tasked you with bringing Prince Valanar's Report to Highlord Darion Mograine in Acherus: The Ebon Hold.

Acherus: The Ebon Hold

After reporting to Highlord Darion Mograine, and turning in the quest. He will give you The Will Of The Lich King to fly back down to Death's Breach using the undead gryphon's, and report to Prince Valanar.

Death's Breach

After reporting to Prince Valanar, he will give you The Crypt of Remembrance to report to Prince Keleseth in The Crypt of Remembrance.

On your way, you'll encounter Noth the Plaguebringer with the quest The Plaguebringer's Request. Pick it up as you can do it with the other quests.The Crypt of Remembrance

You'll pick up Nowhere To Run And Nowhere To Hide from Prince Keleseth and Lambs To The Slaughter from Baron Rivendare. You'll head into New Avalon and first head into the Town Hall, which is the big walled off building in the southern region of New Avalon. Kill Crusader's on your way to the Town Hall. In the back of the Town Hall you'll find Mayor Quimby, who you'll kill. On the table next to the podium you'll find New Avalon Registry. Just outside of the Town Hall, you'll find rows of Citizen of New Avalon Proxy - kill 15 of them. Be sure to loot all of the Crusader's and Citizen's to collect their Crusader Skull. Once finished, head back towards The Crypt of Remembrance, first stopping by Noth the Plaguebringer to turn in The Plaguebringer's Request.

Noth the Plaguebringer will then have Noth's Special Brew, accept it and toss the skulls into the cauldron. This will grant you Noth's Special Brew and turns into a repeatable quest, allowing you to stock pile Noth's Special Brew These are useful while leveling, so having a few stacks wouldn't hurt.

Head back down into The Crypt of Remembrance, and turn in Nowhere To Run And Nowhere To Hide from Prince Keleseth and Lambs To The Slaughter from Baron Rivendare. Pick-up How To Win Friends And Influence Enemies from Prince Keleseth. He will give you Ornately Jeweled Box which contain 2 Keleseth's Persuader. Equip both of these by Dual-Wielding and auto-attacking Crusaders until one gives you the information. Head back to Prince Keleseth to turn this in.

Pick-up Behind Scarlet Lines to report to Orbaz Bloodbane in the Scarlet Tavern. the tavern is located in the most southern section of New Avalon. in the Apple Orchard.

The Scarlet Tavern

Pick-up The Path Of The Righteous Crusader from Orbaz Bloodbane and Brothers In Death from Thassarian. You'll head over to the Scarlet Hold in the Northeastern section of New Avalon. Head down into the basement first, and free Koltira Deathweaver. Turn in Brothers In Death and accept Bloody Breakout.

Bloody Breakout will summon 4 waves of caster Crusaders, which you have to kill until High Inquisitor Valroth spawns. Kill him, and loot Valroth's Head.

Head up to the 2nd floor, and enter the big room. The big table on the platform will have the New Avalon Patrol Schedule on it. You'll have to kill a named Crusader who's not a big deal at all. Once you have New Avalon Patrol Schedule, you can head back towards Thassarian and Orbaz Bloodbane, and turn in The Path Of The Righteous Crusader and Brothers In Death.

Pick up A Cry For Vengeance! from Thassarian and report to Knight Commander Plaguefist. He is located near the burning Chapel south of the Tavern.

The Chapel of the Crimson Flame

After turning in A Cry For Vengeance!, accept A Special Surprise/A Special Surprise dependent upon your Faction. You'll go into the nearby prison house and kill your target. Go back and turn in this quest.

Accept A Sort Of Homecoming and report back to Thassarian in the Tavern.

The Scarlet Tavern

After turning in A Sort Of Homecoming, Orbaz Bloodbane offers Ambush At The Overlook. Pick up this quest, it's to kill a Scarlet Courier and gather Scarlet Courier's Belongings and Scarlet Courier's Message from his body. You'll report to the Scarlet Overlook in the eastern region of New Avalon. Once you're at the two towers, use Makeshift Cover to spawn him in front of you. Once you gather what you need, head back and turn in the quest.

A Meeting With Fate is the next quest, Orbaz Bloodbane will disguise you as a Scarlet Crusader. Head back to the Scarlet Overlook, and run down the ramp into King's Harbor guarded by elite mobs. At the bottom you'll find High General Abbendis, who you turn this quest in to.

King's Harbor

After turning in A Meeting With Fate, High General Abbendis will offer The Scarlet Onslaught Emerges, to report back to Orbaz Bloodbane.

The Scarlet Tavern

After turning in The Scarlet Onslaught Emerges, Orbaz Bloodbane he will give you Scarlet Armies Approach.... You are tasked with alerting Highlord Darion Mograine of the Scarlet Crusade's plans. Orbaz Bloodbane will summon a Death Gate back to Acherus: The Ebon Hold for you to speak with him.

Acherus: The Ebon Hold

Darion Mograine gives you The Scarlet Apocalypse, to alert The Lich King of the Scarlet Crusades plans, he can be found at Death's Breach. Take one of the undead gryphons down, The Lich King is on a platform in the middle of the camp overlooking Havenshire.

Death's Breach

The Lich King will give you An End To All Things.... You will use Horn of the Frostbrood to control a Frostbrood Vanquisher. Fly around New Avalon, killing Scarlet Crusader's and destroying their Ballista's. Avoid the projectiles from the Ballista's, and f your Frostbrood runs out of mana, remember to eat a Crusader to regain mana. Once you complete this quest, be sure to not exit your Frostbrood Vanquisher right away. This will just give you slow fall, and you'll more than likely die from being hit by a Ballista. Make sure to fly back to The Lich King before exiting.

The Lich King will then offer The Lich King's Command, to report to Scourge Commander Thalanor at Browman Mill. To get there, you'll take the path west out of Death's Breach, through the Scourge infested land, and go south towards Light's Hope Chapel. You will encounter Scourge Commander Thalanor at the lumber mill between the infested area and Light's Hope.

Browman's Mill

Scourge Commander Thalanor offers The Light of Dawn, to speak to Highlord Darion Mograine when you're ready for the assault on Light's Hope. After a timer, a large RP Event where you fight against the forces of Light with the Scourge by your side. Darion Mograine summons 10,000 Scourge, and the sky begins to rain blood. You charge towards Light's Hope, as you wither down their forces, and victory looks in your favor - Highlord Tirion Fordring appears. As he comes out, Orbaz flees, and Darion Mograine accepts defeat, at which time Tirion gives Darion a talking to. He summons the soul of Highlord Alexandros Mograine to change the heart of his son, Darion Morgraine. After they have a father-son moment, and Darion learns the truth, he declares he wants to fight against the scourge. Just in time for The Lich King to come interrupt. After some more RP talking, he force chokes Darion, and locks Tirion into place with a spell. The forces of light charge at The Lich King, but he casts Apocalypse and kills all of them. Darion sees this, and throws the Corrupted Ashbringer to Tirion and then collapses. Upon catching it, he gets cleansed by the light, and Corrupted Ashbringer cleanses itself back to the original Ashbringer. He charges at The Lich King, striking him, and leaving him running. Tirion picks up Darion, and welcomes him in the fight against the Scourge and Arthas, The Lich King. Turn the quest into him. Darion will reward you with a weapon of your choosing, and grant you the Death gate ability. This is your final quest as a Death Knight for the Scourge.

Highlord Darion Mograine will offer you Taking Back Acherus. Use your Death Gate ability to teleport back to Acherus: The Ebon Hold. Speak to him when you get there.

anyone know what this means? DELETE. Then farm more? then you restore a stack every 3 days? wtf?

A mention at the very start of this guide that you NEED to have levelled up a char to at least 55+ on Classic Servers in order to be able to even create a DK would've been good! I just downloaded Wrath Classic again, eager to start my journey as a DK to unlock this cool mount, only to be disappointed that it wont let me create a DK as i havent levelled a char on Classic high enough yet. Meh.

For The Lich King's Command, these instructions say to go South. You actually want to head Northwest as the quest instructions indicate. Basically, go down the ramp from where The Lich King is and through the cave.
