Avoidance—Avoidance used to only affect the Felguard and had a 50% chance to completely avoid AoE damage. Now instead Avoidance is available for all demons, and instead of 50% complete avoidance it is 90% reduced damage taken from AoE abilities. Warlocks can use pets without any fear of losing them in the majority of encounters. This in turn increases your damage a fair bit.
Suppression—Suppression used to only increase your hit chance for Affliction spells only. However, that is only a fraction of warlocks' abilities. Now it affects all spells and on top of that reduces the mana cost of Affliction spells. Making this a way stronger talent, it also only takes 3 talent points to max out versus 5 in the past.
Improved Shadow Bolt—Gone are the days of mages and priests using shadow wands to grief the warlocks ISB debuff stacks. Instead, this talent no longer uses charges and applies the effect for a flat 30 seconds. The effect also changed from increasing all shadow damage to increasing all spell critical strike chance, plus a passive increasing the Shadow Bolt damage from the warlock itself.
& —Instead of going into the wand slot, these now work as weapon oils. Making them way more useful because you do not have to offer up an item slot. On top of that both now also have a unique bonus, either increasing your damage-over-time or your direct-damage.
Corruption—The biggest change here is that the spell no longer has a cast time from the get-go.
Demonic Embrace—There are two less talent points that can be spend in this slot. We also only get 10% extra stamina versus 15% (although this is slightly more on a point-per-point basis). It also no longer lowers spirit, which is a good thing.
Demonic Brutality—This talent used to be called "Improved Voidwalker" and only benefited your blue berry. Now it also increases the attack power bonus from Demonic Frenzy from your Felguard.
Improved Health Funnel—One of the less significant changes, this talent now also causes your pet to take less damage during the use of Health Funnel.
Improved Sayaad—Now also reduces the cast time of your Seduction.
Master Conjuror—As previously stated big reworks have been done to & . This talent now increases the stats by 150% per rank instead of 15%.
Mana Feed—Mana Feed now only requires a single point to gain the full benefit from Life Tap instead of three.
Master Demonologist—This talent works slightly different for every demon, but the concept behind it stays the same. Imp no longer reduces threat generation but instead slightly increases your Fire damage and Fire crits. Voidwalker is the only one staying completely the same, giving reduced physical damage. Succubus and Incubus no longer provide 2% damage to all sources but rather 1% damage and crit chance to shadow spells. Instead of resistance for the Felhunter, we get spell damage reduction. Felguard essentially stays the same but gets all damage reduction instead of resistance.
Soul Link—Keeps the damage share effect, but no longer provides the additional 5% damage.
Demonic Tactics—This talent doubles in effect, providing a 2% crit chance for your demon instead of 1%.
