Well, post-BC, this blade is total crap, dont bother with it. get to 70 then get something from a heroic dungeon.

You Have to be level 54 to have done the attunement chain for Onyxia's lair but no raid will take someone below 60. Also unless you are a warrior or pally don't count on ever getting this sword unless you reroll.

Feel free to flame me if you like, but I'm betting the name of this item comes from the RL series or travel and informational books published by Fodors....the name Foror's Compendium sounds like a step by step guide of how to do it. Not really that important, but that's what I think.

it's not drop u need to complete the foror's compendium of d.s. to get the blade,and then u go on the chain q that leads to onixya

Category says Dire Maul. I assume that is where the blade drops from.
