Okay, so I just wasted 100 gold on a void storage. Anyone else think it is a completely ignorant concept. You can't store stackable items? Whose idea was that? They ought to have a sell back option for those of us who don't go out and read the internet for every purchase we make. Had I known the restrictions, I would NEVER have purchased it.

I love my void storage; I have many many many pieces of armour that I use for Transmog, and not having to store them in my bank is just plain awesome.

I have to agree with Adamsm. Void storage is amazing. So many mog items/sets in my storage that would take up far too much space in my normal bank.

Yeah, I don't think I will use it for the reason that you have to pay to use it and I don't transmog so what other use is there? I don't see a practical purpose for it.

Storing non-gemmed and enchanted sets, storing tabards, storing random items just cluttering up your bank you aren't willing to get rid of?
And while you may not see a practical purpose for it, doesn't mean that one doesn't exist. Since you've already admitted you didn't read up on it, now is the time to find out which items can be stored in there, and which cannot.

I have only been playing this game for about 6 months so excuse my lack of knowledge when I ask, "Why do you keep extra armor? Do you switch it out for different encounters?"

Doesn't it bug you at all that you have to pay 25g just to save a vanity item? I think I agree with your first post. Maybe as I get more into raids and whatnot I will change my opinion. If I do, well then, I have a void storage that I can use. We'll see.

Okay one, just hit edit to put a post in if you are the last poster.
Post 1: Yes, people have Tanking gear, Healing gear, dps gear, and there are those who have a full set of each set for both PVE and PVP encounters. However, since Transmog means you can make yourself look different as often as you want, it's easier to use Void storage to hold that transmog items.
Post 2: Nope, since it's just gold, which is ridiculously easy to make.

Well, anything BOP is not going to be sent to my alts. I have a complete set of transmog for PvP, and one for PvE, and some people who I know who have hybrids have 3-4 sets of transmog for tank/heals/DPS/PvP, etc. And most of my toonz have other pieces besides their main sets, plus different weapons, that they're saving for future transmog sets. I have a number of BoP holiday items with on-use effects or cosmetic appearances that took time to get and I'd like to save them. It makes room for gear and such that is legendary, or no longer in the game, and is worth keeping just because it's unobtainable. A lot of tabards take time and work to get and need to be stored too. A lot of vanity items are fun, but I only have so much room in my bags and so I keep them in reserve.
The void storage is for items you want to hang onto, but rarely have a use for. My transmog stuff, I might pull out 1-2 pieces a week when I get upgrades. The older stuff, I might pull it out on a rare occasion just to show it to someone. Void storage makes room in your main bank so you can have stacks of crafting mats, food, flasks, bandages and other stuff you use daily in your main bank. I don't know anyone who has been playing the game for 2+ years who hasn't gotten a lot of use out of void storage.(##RESPBREAK##)8##DELIM##ElhonnaDS##DELIM##

I have 5 different armor sets, including armor and weapons/shields. Needless to say, my void storage isn't big enough for all my crap but it's still incredibly useful regardless.
