It's not a terrible idea, but it won't happen. Here's why:
Blizz has said repeatedly that they are concerned with "bursty" damage, especially in PvP environments. If we get a few crits/procs in a row on something, it's going to die after two abilities and a white swing. CS is usually part of the "opening" moves of a Paladin. Therefore, I simply do not see Blizz buffing an insta-strike move like CS to do even more damage. If our damage is lacking at all (and I've said this before), I think Blizz will try to buff Righteous Vengeance.
I do believe strongly that CS needs SOMETHING else. Blizz talked about this when they changed the Seal/Judgement system. CS used to be mandatory to keep all Judgements up on the boss. That's no longer the case. Now our 41 point ability is...an insta-110% weapon damage spell. That is pathetic. I don' t know what they could attach on to CS to not make it more bursty but give it more utility, but it should be done.

No...just no. Paladin isn't OP, its just good and fair how it should be.

Well, for me, i avoid Crusader Strike, it just doesn't do enough damage unless it crits.....maybe with better gear, that will change....but right now, for my paladin, its not worth the mana it costs to use....unless you are lucky to get a crit.
