I say that this ability should be given naturally to druids, though its only 1 talent point it still seems a waste when it is perfectly logical to give it to us free.
Also... what will the crit multiplier be for bleeds? will it be x1.5 like all phisical attacks? or will it be x2 like spells? Either way it will increase kitty dps significantly, with our rake and rip hitting in excess of 1200 already we will be looking at 2k + crits for bleeds.

The big issue with this talent is that it greatly changes the optimal AP-crit balance for ferals.
The main reason that we were looking for some strength also and not going for full agi is that bleed, that are a big percentage of our damage, isnt affected by the crit chance.
Now the optimal dps balance changes over agility. Good for pvp were u like agi for healing and mitigation

Practically, you'll be stacking crit, because most of your damage is from melee swings and your bleed ticks. I'm sitting at 3k DPS full buffed, in strength gear, where strength is optimal in my case. However, It seems like I'm going to switch over to agil fast.
This
looks like the optimal PvE spec, with variations allowed, obviously. If you have a
dedicated
arms warrior, or second feral druid in all guild runs of yours, mangle is not needed, meaning you can take the point out of mangle, to replace into something for more survivalbility, such as Survival Instincts, however mangle is still a great investment for when you need to build another combo point, and happen to be in front of your opponent.
Currently sitting at 45% crit, completely stacking strength, fully buffed. I'm hoping to see up to 50-55% w/ new gems and agility gear. Huge boost in DPS with this talent. Will also officially make Rake your primary damage ability. Each tick of rake does more then each tick of rip, so keeping rake and mangle debuffs up are the most important, followed by savage roar, then finally rip.

is optimal in my case. I've seen an increase of 500 DPS with this spec, and topped the damage charts of a VoA run, both bosses. I got primal tenacity because it's a great talent in my case. I pop out of forms a lot to help heal at the start of fights to get the groove going, and 50% plus the 30% from natural shapeshifter, helps a lot. And, remember, ILotP affects
your whole raid.
So, basically, every melee class and hunter will be able to top off, from a crit. Less heals needed overall, more mana for the healers, means more mana to use on the tank. So, you may not need it, but I love it. By the way, AoE isn't much of a need for druids. Yes, we do egt a talent improving our one AoE usable in cat form, but unless I see 6+ mobs, swipe is on a seperate bar. But, that's how I view it.

What I would like to know is, what crit chance is used for the bleed? Because if it is your melee crit, this will probably get nerfed. Anyone tested this?

PTR Build 9733 - Primal Gore doesn't affect Rake anymore.

well just came from PTR while nerf is pretty big YES, i was still able to do 4000 DPS solo, no buffs on HEROIC target dummy with only 155 hit rating, 4% (not capped obviously) and 19 exper. 4.75% (not capped as well) and also still using Grim toll (which becomes useless in 3.1 for Ferals)
before the nerf i was 4250 constant over 10min duration with no buffs (with same gear), so difference is big, my gear is outdated on PTR on live im everything capped now, with pretty much maximum gear and rdy for Ulduar.
things to note: agility gonna be better in 3.1 again (tested myself) and new Savage Roar will benefit from
Naturalist
bringing your total dmg to 146% down from 150% with old SR glyph 110% normal with Naturalist and 36% SR this is alot better then 40% Attack Power.

Is this ultimately worth the 6 talent points that it takes to get? I don't particularly plan to use ferocious bite, I'd prefer to still have energy to fight the next target after my finishing move, sometimes I even just use rip and let them bleed to death while I'm off to the next victim. I've been trying to gear myself towards PvP battlegrounds so 5 points in furor I've come to love. I'm stopping at lvl 69 so I'm tight with talent points. The skill itself is freakin awesome, but is it 6 talent points worth of awesome?
