Because Paladins are casting a seal nearly every thirty seconds (or less) this becomes a real mana saver. Many PvPers feel that talents spent else where could have yielded results before that mana was necessary.

It should be noted that on average Sanctified Judgement provides a bigger manareturn than this talent. So if you just take one (ideally of course get both), take Imp BoM and get SJ.

Still,the first 5 points in Retribution if you plan on tanking and mixing both,should always go here instead of Improved BoM.You could always use additional mana efficiency,you tank with blessing of Sanctuary anyway, and for grinding Kings,Wisdom or Sanctuary are still better than Might.

This talent is definitely better for the points than Imp BoM. Unless you're lvl 70 you should avoid improved BoM at all costs, as it will be one of your last choices to buff yourself with. Until raiding at 70, no paladin should spend any points in improved blessing of might. This talent makes it much easier to gear like a warrior without going OOM half way through fights.

With the new seal and judgement system, I can see many more paladins taking Imp. Blessing of Might over this talent. Seals lasting two minutes and not getting consumed by your judgment dramatically reduces the need for this talent.

Judgments cost 220 mana at 80, and with this talent it will reduce the cost to 187. This ends up turning into around 20.625 mana per 5. Hardly worth the points, in my mind, compared to an additional 175 attack power from Imp. Blessing of Might.

and I can see myself having BoM over other Blessings with Sheath of Light.

highest rank BoM is 550, with iBoM we can get around around 200 more Spell Power, translate into near 400 healing

Benediction has been changed in the latest beta build. It is now:

"Reduces the mana cost of all instant cast spells by 2/4/6/810%."

This is a nice change for ret pallies. I'm assuming that it would also apply to the instant cast Flash of Lights that 2/2 Art of War can give you, but being that I don't have a beta key, I can't test it myself. Can anyone out there confirm/deny?

Probably stupid, but with Lay on Hands being instant ,with 5/5 benediction does LoH only use 90% of remaing mana?
Anyone in beta know?

Ok reading the tooltip, I wonder if this applies to Hands & Blessings too? Since they're instant cast too.

Does this affect Flash of Light when it becomes instant after an Infusion of Light proc?

What I would personally like to know is, does this apply to holy shock? And if you crit on holy shock (As a holy pally), does it apply to your next (instant) Flash of Light while Infusion of light is up? Anybody know?

Acording to this post (google cache of the beta forums) and this newer post, instant Flash of Lights do not benefit from benediction.
I know I didn't test it myself, but I supose it's better than no answer at all, as it currently stands in this page.

For levels 50 and below I would recommend Deflection over this talent, simply because there is a lack of instant cast spells until around then. and 5% parry can be a life saver, even if you are just soloing.
