Without two-points invested in Imp. Mana Burn it should never be used in PvP or even at all in my opinion. Yes it is funny to watch a holy pally run around oom, flailing their healing hammer. But at 3 seconds, with only mediocre damage, you can better use that time for killing your enemy rather than gimping them.

Turns Mana Burn from a spell which should never see the light of day outside of soloing, to the bane of all mana dependant classes in arena.

As Stryper said, this is a must in Arena.
Mana Burn is within the 'Discipline' school, so it is possible to cast while in Shadow Form.

With the upcoming changes to Mana Burn (burning a percentage of the target's mana, rather than a flat amount), expect Mages and Warlocks to fear this spell more, and Paladins to fear it less. Given that, this talent will likely see more use in PvP situations as the spell it modifies grows more popular.

Tried speccing in this... and then found mages reflection abilities made it reflect on me, and eat my mana. Save your two points, put it in Reflective Shield... much better since it ONLY works on self. (granted i'm soloing lvl 72s, 73s, and up in PvE)
