These can be a real pain to get the mats for, but I found an amazing solution for rapid leveling! If you are a miner, then you probably already have some of the mats, but the hardened bars are a real pain. Solution: get somebody else to buy them for you! Simply let people in trade know that you are crafting one of these for free, AND that you are supplying a portion of the mats. I got two offers in under a minute, from people eager to gear their toons for less than they would normally have to pay. One of the people even tipped me in several stacks of elementium bars despite my advertising it to be free.

For all you people who don't want to spend the money leveling engineering, try this out!

Note: This does depend on people on your server needing the item, and this may become less effective as cata moves on. At time of writing cata is still fairly new.

This weapon is awesome for lvl 83 hunters. It's hard to come by a lvl 333 weapon until 85.
