Feral cat crit is already so high that adding another 5% to anything is a pretty low increase in net DPS. That not withstanding, the 2pc bonus from T8 provides a much higher net DPS gain that both the 2pc and 4pc T9 combined and the 4pc T8's additional 8 seconds on Savage Roar greatly smooths out the feral rotation and allows the weaving of a few more Ferocious Bites in there. In all, T9 is about as lackluster for cats as the rogue T9 is for them.

Looking more at feral tanking the set bonuses have really not been all that game-changing in Wrath. Since the set bonuses for tanking are almost a moot point it would be silly not to upgrade to the T9 for the pure stat increases alone. Just be sure to keep your T8 handy for off-spec DPS.
