Yes, the longer eating time is also what bothers me, I'd rather be using 2 mage strudel and be back at full mana/health in the same time!
Renders this food utterly useless in my book (tank-paladin myself), since the point should be regenerating FASTER -> more in the same time, rather than just eating longer.....you can do that by just eating 2 of any ordinary food no problem

Though I do understand that high speed bufffood would probably be abused in PvP.
Seems I'll keep Holy Light-ing myself and then regging mana for now =\
I feel sorry for the Warrior and DK Tanks though, at least those without considerate healers.

Even though this takes a minute to consume, consider that a minute really isn't a long period of time. Also think about when this would be used such as after being resurrected (either by player or coming into the instance after a wipe) or after a hard boss fight and your raid has time before going to the next one.

As AKdenton pointed out, consider bringing other food/drinks for when you don't need a lot to get full health/mana.

One thing I'm amazed was not mentioned yet, whether you eat this or not, it's the ONLY recipe that allows you to get from 400 to 425 fishing without consuming Northern spices.

So if you don't want to spend the money or cooking awards on them, get ready to head to the Tundra.

Also, to those of you complaining about the 1 min timer, consider it this way. Fish is free. 1 stack of these replaces 2 stacks of other food. More bag space ftw.

Allows you to afk one whole minute while you regenerate.

Mostly completely useless though. If only it turned you completely black with ooze...
