At the current state of professions in arena the bop pot with 1680-2160 free hp on a 3min timer destroys everyother profession ability by far.

JC 3 unique gems
BS 3 additional gem slots (supposedly) and boe weps
LW bracer buff, nothing special
Ench. ring bonuses
Eng. always sucked always will
Skin small crit bonus
Min 500hp
Tail. don't remember, but sure it's not as good

Herb. may be the only other prof that is popular for hard core arena junkies, hot = to about a rejuv

The useful thing about this, is it finally gives alchemists something they can use in the arena. As before it was the only profession that provided nothing of value.

Now it provides a pot which will be very desirable, but lets try and put a few things in perspective.
First up its a pot for 2k life, when you compare it to say a jewel crafter who could socket about another 60-90 stamina in then other classes, its a lot more bonus health.

The problem is that passive health is always there, where as the pot is there once. In a prolonged fight with healing, the passive stamina might be considerably better.

This counts for double when every warrior and his hunter buddy will be casting healing debuffs on you.

For the average battleground, this is going to be exceptional handy, and for casual tanking, this+last stand/sheild-wall effects should by enough time for any healer to wake up.

I'll still be using the full rank pots on raid bosses/trash however.

It has a 3 minute cooldown and no cast time. The Spell Details listed here on wowhead could use an upgrade for both Endless potions

This works with the 40% healing bonus from Mighty Alchemist Stone, Indestructible Alchemist Stone and Mercurial Alchemist Stone. Which gives a free runic healing potion every 3 minutes.

I made one of these for my Dk and I love it when going xping. If I lose some hp I just use it and regain some health and 1 min later do it again. You got wait until fight is over until count starts though. It let you chain a lot better without stopping. Because bandaging or eatting food you have to stop. While this let you keep going and after you make it once it's endless. Earliest you can make this is lv 65 since that what lv is required to be Grand Master and you need a skill of 400 to keep using it. If your lving a class that doesn't really have healing spells or really good ways of healing. Alchemy probably be a good choice for you. You also make a good deal of gold with this proffession especially ever since epic gem transmute. Even mage class is really good benefit with the endless mana. Because they can just keep using when timer goes down and less down time in killing. Mind you it item doesn't restore a lot but it better than nothing.

It's worth noting that even though the potions it's made from have a level requirement of 70, the Endless potion only has an Alchemy skill requirement - so if you're prepared to spend some gold at the Auction House to powerlevel, you can be using this as soon as you hit level 65 and can train Grand Master Alchemy. Very useful indeed.

At character level 87 it healing 2'999 HP. Yes, roughly three thousand.
Same at level 88. Same at 89. Same at 90. No idea, from where the numbers came on the site.

The MoP healing potion, on another hand, healing up top 200k HP easy. Saves rogue's life...
