I hear that there are different levels of parchment for different levels of enchantments.

It would seem to me that this may allow you to share head/shoulder enchantments.... you enchant parchment with an Aldor shoulder enchantment and then trade the scroll to a friend who is a Scryer. Or you could give head enchants that one cannot obtain yet/give them the discounted Exalted rate when they would have to pay more. Just a thought.

There are 3 levels of Armor Enchantments Parchments.

Level 1 which can be used with enchants without "requires level XX item",
Level 2 which can be used with enchants requiring items 1-35 level (pre-BC),
Level 3 which can be used with enchants requiring items 36-60 level.

If you're enchanter you target clean parchment instead of armor item and enchant is stored on it for future use. You can sell it on AH but more important now you actually can enchant your "same-account-alt" soulbound items as this method doesn't require 2 chars to be online at same time - you just mail scroll created that way.

As of 4.01, it appears that this single vellum replaces all the previous vellums (Enchanting Vellum II, III, Weapon Vellum I, II and III). If you had those other vellums, they will have become one of a variety of Ruined Vellums, which can be used to grant a copy of this (usable) vellum instead.

since 4.01 has the skill level up been removed when you enchant onto vellum? I chanted several orange's recently but didn't receive a skill up?

Steps to use:

Select an enchantment in your profession
Click enchant button
Select Enchanting Vellum

Your Enchanting Vellum will be consumed and turned into a scroll of that enchantment that you can trade/sell to others
