As of 17-Sept-2012, this spell takes you to a place above the new crater in Theramore, IF, at this point, you have completed the Theramore scenario. Those who haven't may still see old Theramore.

Fall damage for now. Expect this to be fixed soon.

For fun: Cast portal for Theramore at the spot where you land and click as fast as you can to beat the fall damage. Now you're thinking with portals!

Nov 5: For posterity, for when they fix the portal/teleport, I link this video.

I tried this on my 75 level mage, and I ended up in old Theramore. Looks to me like lower level toons still can quest and do things in Theramore, but if you are higher level you get the crater....

Strange! But ok.

As of 7.0 portal: theramore is still there but teleport: theramore is gone from the select list. Is that a bug? I count 11 portal options and only 10 for teleport

Can confirm that as of 26 Oct 2025 that my level 71 Mage's Teleport:Theramore spell ports you to the Portal Trainer, Ysuria, in the tower on Theramore Isle in Dustwallow Marsh, Kalimdor.

She sells the Portal: Theramore (as well as many other Portals and Teleports).

Good luck and happy adventures!
