I've seen people ride this on the same server as me, but I can't find it on my own account... (I play on EU)
I thought the only requirement was to have Shadowlands, which I do, so I'm not sure what's happening

Edit: I found an announcement on Battle.net describing a delivery delay, it can take a few days before everyone has it.

I've got the mount in my Mount tab, but it is grey and I cant use it :( Does that mean I haven't received it yet?

You get this mount as a "gift" you have to open in your Mounts tab. Just like you'd open a Blizzcon mount or gift. I got an alert that I had it. If you don't have it yet, be patient, you will soon.

This mount is suppose to change colors based on the season.

Right now it is Winter and so it is grey and white in color.

When doing the animation, pine cones will appear on the tree and he'll try to reach them and then shake them off.

BUT there are also 2 other animations I've seen.

1. Christmas Pepe shows up on a branch and he gets shaken off. (This seems to be rare as I've only gotten it once.)

2. Snow will appear on the branches and get shaken off.

Looking forward to see what the other seasons have. :)

**Update**
It's officially Spring now here in the U.S. And the mount is green and brown. Pine cones, apples, and a Pepe for animations. :)

I slacked, I'm not sure if anything changed for Summer.

Fall tree colors are browns and oranges, exactly what a Fall tree would look like. Pine cones, pumpkins (one is a jack-o-lantern), and a scarecrow Pepe. :)

for spring, the mount special has pinecones, apples, and basic pepe

If you have a character that has a stables in your garrison and wandering ancient is one of your favorited mounts, it has a chance to appear as a different seasonal color when walking around in your stables

Now expansion Shadowlands add to base edition. Can someone confirmed: this mount available to new players or not?

Not 100% sure when they switch. I was logged in with a lot of other people in Ironforge when the Winter's Veil went live (10am PST Dec 16, 2023), but no change, even after remounting. I'm guessing it happens at the solstice.

I stayed up til midnight (Pacific time) tonight, because it's the solstice, to see if the mount changed color while I was still riding it. Nope! You can summon it in Fall mode, wait til midnight, and it stays Red and Orange. I dismissed it at 12:01, resummoned and it was in Snowy mode.

I started playing in Season 3 of Dragonflight and i do not have it, i guess it is unobtainable for new players. Or in theory if you have a cd key for Shadowlands you could still unlock it.

An interesting thing - the summer version has two stones protruding from the shoulders with runes, similar to Domination Runes. The eyes also glow blue, suggesting that it is dominated
