This was a bit of a pain to make, but it felt good to finally create it in the end.

You can create Primals (like Primal Earth, Water, etc.), from 10 Motes of the corresponding type. You turn the motes into the Primals by right-clicking on the motes in your inventory when you have at least 10 of the mote type.

I found the Motes of Mana on floating "Mana ..." mobs in Netherstorm (there are different types of these mobs, one is called "Mana Seeker").

I found the Motes of Fire on fire elementals in northeastern Blade's Edge Mountains, though miners also find these motes on mining nodes.

I found the Motes of Earth on earth elementals roaming Nagrand (they are all over the place), though miners also find these motes on mining nodes.

I found the motes of water on water elementals in the depressed terrain surrounding the PvP town of Hallah in Nagrand.

I found the Motes of Air on air elementals roaming Nagrand.

Combine the motes into Primals, and using the Philosopher's Stone, transmute them all into the Primal Might.

6 days to get this from scratch. I smell a cash cow for the people who do these transmutes religiously (and from what i've heard how master transmuter works with the possibility of getting more the one item per transmute, $$$$$)

Anyone know if the various Alchemy transmutes share the 23-hour cooldown with transmute-Arcanite Bar?

you can find fire, water, earth and air all in nagrand, in the north/east part of the map (throne of the elementals) from 60,15 to around 70,30

What do alchemists charge on average to perform the transmute for another player? It'll vary by server, of course, I'm just interested in a ballpark figure.

I would not do any transmute for less than the 15g I can make transmuting an earth to an water and auctioning the water.

Is the cooldown on this being removed in Lich King? It doesn't show a CD here on the wotlk.wowhead version, but it does on normal wowhead...

While I did get procs making these with mastery, I just made quite a large amount of the things and didn't discover any new xmutes. I understand random is random, but I did discover one when I transmuted primal earth to water. Have any of you experienced discovering primal xmutes with this recipe since the CD was lifted?

i must have done something like 20 primal might Xmutes, and also never discovered any other xmute recipe.
Did ten quite a long time ago , and another ten recently .
i guess you must acquire any one of the other elemental primal xmute formulas to discover new ones .
i start the process of getting primal earth to water ( sporegar ) and keep you in touch .
edit :
i acquired primal earth to water from sporegar yesterday .
on my first xmut , today , i get : discovery : earth to life .
this strongly suggest( although not proven ) that primal might xmut does not permit discovery .

note : getting exalted with sporegar : starting from early honored.
I did this with a character who is herbalism . at the east entrance of the mud valley , killed giants.
as a reward : herbalism on the corpses, and a good return on investment for my scribe.
1 day killing. last rep point made with the quest 'still friends ' ( the najas) .
