The Prestige system is new as of Legion, and is described below

Prestige System

The Prestige system is a new way to advance in PvP, as of Legion. Through the Honor system, you work your way to Honor Level 50, unlocking talents on the way. Once reaching Honor Level 50, you can choose to stay there and make use of your unlocked talent tree, or you can increase your "Prestige Level", wiping your progress and bringing you back to Honor Level 1, but unlocking cosmetic rewards by doing so (like this mount!)

Resetting for increased Prestige will yield more rewards the more you do it (pets, Artifact appearances, etc.). The Prestige rewards do not require any particular rating in Arenas/Rated Battlegrounds - they can be obtained just by grinding honor over time.

At launch, there will be 4 Prestige levels to advance through, with further ranks added each season (Source).

Other than mounts, the datamined prestige rewards include:
