Despite the tooltip, you should not always keep this effect active. Threatening Presence is basically Growl for lock pets. If you're in a group with a tank, turn Threatening Presence off. Don't make the tank have to compete with your pet for aggro, especially since a dead pet does zero DPS.

Edit to add: In 5.0 more lock pets than just the VW have this spell. It's unlikely you'd be using a VW in a group, but the pet you are using my also have Threatening Presence.

I'm finding something curious though, why is there a need for Threatening Presence when the voidwalker already has the Suffering ability? doesn't is basically do the same thing, but better?

Only needs about half the tank's DPS to pull off him. Tanks' threat rate (between taunts) is 5xDPS and non-tanks' is normally 1xDPS, whereas this effect boosts a minion's threat to 11xDPS.

Technical explanation: "Mod Threat (127)" effects are those that change the amount of threat you generate per point of damage. Tank stances that give 5x threat 第三次大戰精兵 (see effect 5) have a value of 400, and Blizzard has said they use 100ths of a point internally, which indicates that the value for "Mod Threat (127)" is the number of extra 100ths of a threat point per damage point.

I'm still confused about its wording.
As I can clearly see from reading it...
"Intimidates any target you attack,Increasing YOUR threat generation."

As a warlock I like to drain tank. Meaning, when I play out in the world, collecting herbs and questing, I like to let my Voidwalker be the "tank" and take the aggro while i cast curse spells and drain life. etc...

But if I read it correctly that means the Voidwalker would be doing the damage and I would receive the aggro.
Am I reading it right? Simply put, who gets the aggro, me or the Voidwalker when using this ability?

I'd love this for Tenacity Bm hunter pets. Many mobs on the isle are growl immune, esp CInderfall and as a result, we can't tank them even most of the time , even though in most case a BM hunter pet is a perfect tank due to AOE resistances.

Keeps turning off randomly for some reason. I cant work out why, as I dont do dungeons unless its Timewalking. Randomly played up in a T8 delve, just switching off for no reason. Also pet decided to attack a target I wasnt, so I'm wondering if its a Brann curio causing issues.
