This ability is used to avoid two deadly moves in the Ultraxion fight in the Dragon Soul raid.

1. Hour of Twilight
2. Fading Light (debuff)

After Hour of Twilight is cast or Fading Light ends, the player is affected by Twilight Shift, which pulls them back into realm where they can do damage/healing and be damaged. Using this ability substantially before the Hour of Twilight cast completes or the Fading Light debuff ends will reduce the amount of damage done to the boss, resulting in a DPS loss. As this fight is a DPS race, reducing the amount of time shifted out of combat will make a massive difference in the damage done to Ultraxion. It is best to use this ability during the last second of the cast/debuff in order to increase the time actively dealing damage to the boss.

Everyone will benefit from using a /click macro because the keyboard lags less than the mouse. You can also precede the /click by a spammable dps/healing move. I use the same global macro on all of my toons:

This may not be optimal, but it is never worse than just clicking your Heroic Will button.

A warning if you are planning to test this before the fight: Thunder Clap and Holy Nova will pull the boss even if you are standing far away.

Also, Heroic Will is spammable. If you hit it too early (as evidenced by hearing DBM count "5" after you hit it), then you can spam it and it will go off right after you zone back into the Twilight Realm. In theory, there is a chance that the boss will kill you during the fraction of a second that you are back in the Twilight Realm, but if you have selected a high enough Custom Lag Tolerance under Combat Options you will be pretty safe. I have not tested this much for obvious reasons :)
