The unsanctified ore can be a pain to collect due to needing an exact stack of 20. Can't loot because it takes us over 20. The only way I could get around this was to sell my stack to a vendor, mine some more, split the stack so the amount in bags + # available in the buyback tab = 20. Sell off the excess and buy back the original stack.

As of beta make sure you take the ORE to the guy and not the bars, it seems (haven't checked yet but going to) that he blesses the ore.

Evantastic

Unsanctified Storm Silver Ore is a quest item, gathered at the same time as the crafting reagent Storm Silver Ore from mining nodes.

Johalon

No mining location marked on maps. I farmed Storm Silver Ore around Anglepoint Wharf. The quest does not allow you to mine more than exactly 20 ore. Could not find forge in vicinity of Anglepoint Wharf so I flew from Outrigger Point to the blacksmith forge in Tradewinds Market. Simply click on the ore stack in your bags to smelt. I returned via ferry system to the Wharf. Talk to Diligent Sea Priest near the ferry to bless your Storm Silver Ingots. Quest complete. Turn in at Tradewinds Market.

This quest becomes available from the mining trainer Myra Cabot in Boralus after reaching 50 in Kul Tiran Mining.

After you smelt them, go directly to get them sanctified, do not pass GO, do not collect 200$, and whatever you do, do not mine more Storm Silver, as that might cause ones you already smelted to effectively disappear.

WARNING. As of 15/08, this quest appears to have a bug when used in a party.

This happened to me. A guildie and I were doing the quest together. We went to the Tidesage after smelting our 20 bars and my guildie gave her bars in for blessing.

AND MINE.

The Tidesage accepted her 20 bars and my 20 bars and gave her 40 Blessed Bars, leaving me with 0.

Why a quest that has a Unique (20) for the mats but a Unique (100) for the endgame interacts like this, This far into the game’s lifespan, I don’t know.

If you're an idiot like myself, the forge is in the pit near the mining trainer. Simply go to it and right click on the quest ore in your bag, this will smelt it into the ingots. There is no spell to learn the smelting technique from the mining trainer.

Relogging fixed the disappearing issue for me.

2018-08-18 Do Not Mine After Smelting and before getting it blessed.

I mined a rich node after smelting and it glitched out on live. :( Need to go mine and smelt again.

Just smelt the 20 未聖化的風暴白銀礦石 behind 不懈的浪潮賢者 with 熱能鐵砧 and turn-in the quest.

Beefmode

If you don't see your bars in your bag when you go to get your bars blessed then just re-log and they should reappear.

I know its been posted, but I want this to be clear if you're here for the same reason I was.

If the sage doesn't have option to bless the QO for you, just re-log. Upon re-logging she had a new dialog option.

Kuipo

If you're like me and can't figure out how to smelt the ore... you don't smelt the ore via the mining skills like you do other ore. You simply right click the quest item in your bag.

1) Mine Storm silver ore - The Unsanctified ore is a drop from this 2) when you have 20 take them to the forge in the pit in the middle of Tradewind Market in Boralus. Use the forge to smelt the ingots. Takes only one go to do all 20.
3) Take ferry from Tradewind Docks to Anglepoint Wharf on the south east coast of Norwington Estate roughly 42.37, 30.17. When you arrive at the dock there will be priest there who will sanctify the ingots.
4) Return the sanctified ingots to Tradewind Market Mining trainer.

Here's what happened to me. You've got 20 of them and use an anvil. Then you go to the Priest and along the way mine some more Storm Silver. When you get to the Priest there is no way to interact with him. Log out and back in, then you can talk to him and complete this quest.

really buggy quest apparently. did this on my warrior with no problems at all (other than having NO idea where to find the person to bless the stuff and came here). did it on my druid... got to 18 of the quest item and kept mining node after node and could not find any more of the quest item. logged out for the night, logged in the next day and same issue. came here, didn't see anything like that. out of curiosity, i went to the closest town and tried to smelt my 18 quest ore.... and it worked!

The Unsanctified Storm Silver Ore only stacks to 20, so if you have 19 and you get two more, they will go in their own stack. That is why I thought I had only 19 when I actually had 21...../facepalm. Like the Panda says: "sloooow dowwn"; I guess I need to heed that advice lol When I took time to really look I saw the second stack and did the turn in. TYSM to Ooryl for posting the location of the tidesage that does the blessing! Very helpful info :)

Mormolyce

When they say log out... that means log out. If you quit and log back in, that doesn't work.

Because that makes sense.

WARNING
When you are getting near the end of your mining collection, be careful with autoloot! I was at 18/20 Unsanctified Storm Silver Ore, mined up 6, but couldn't pick them up (and the mining node disappeared). I figured they'd get mailed to me and I could just grab the 2 I needed.

Wrong. In fact, I was unable to mine any Unsanctified Storm Silver Ore after that moment and had to drop the quest and redo it.

Q - where is the tidesage to get things blessed?

A - Diligent Tidesage at Anglepoint Wharf.

Whild

If after taking the quest you're not getting the quest ore from nodes, abandon the quest and take it again. I mined a few dozen nodes without getting any Unsanctified Ore, but when I dropped and picked up the quest again, I started to get them right away.

Zenaxia

Right click the storm silver quest ore in ur bags, at the blacksmith trainer in boralus, (alliance) to craft it.

Check your bank. i use bagnon which auto places materials in the bank, could'nt figure out why i stopped at 14 till i ran my mouse over them and the tooltip said i had seven in the bank, after that the quest completed normally

When it comes times to smelt the 未聖化的風暴白銀礦石 into 未聖化的風暴白銀碇,

You might want to have a 熱能鐵砧 in your bags.

For my alts with mining and/or blacksmithing, they all carry 熱能鐵砧s for convenience

After smelting, get the 未聖化的風暴白銀碇 blessed by the 不懈的浪潮賢者 at

/way Tiragarde Sound 41.9, 30.0 Diligent Tidesage

ATTENTION: Possible Omen Warning - did anyone else find it troubling that
the 不懈的浪潮賢者 has "666" embedded in her NPC I.D. number?

Final turnin is with 米拉‧卡伯特 at Tradewinds Market, Boralus Harbor..

;)

If you haven't completed the "To Anglepoint" part of the War Campaign, the Diligent Tidesage will appear and then fade away. You must complete the questline to have her show up.

Horde blessing: at the Port of Zandalar, Throk's War Table where you queue for Warfronts, behind him, down the steps you'll see Wavesinger De'zan with his feet dangling over the water. That's your holy man.

For those who miss it like I did, the forge is in the large pit near Myra Cabot. Just turn around.

This quest need to be rewritting or be look over once again, by the devs, because there is no marks and no clue where you need to go and what to do. no quest marks what so ever!

The 不懈的浪潮賢者 will not be available if you are in the middle of the 戰爭前行 questline of 復仇之潮. The port is instead overrun by Horde enemies. Complete the 戰爭前行 segment and then return to Anglepoint Wharf - it will be back to Alliance friendly and the 不懈的浪潮賢者 will be back.

Tandry

I don't see all the needed info in one place, so:
1. When you have the quest, just mine Storm Silver Ore until you have 20 of the special ore.
2. Use a forge (or an anvil) to smelt them into ingots by CLICKING on the item.
3. Go to Dignified Tidesage at 41,30 in Tiragarde Sound and ask him to bless them.
4. Return to Boralus and turn in quest.
