***NOTE: Some of the following information is preliminary and subject to change!***

This is one of the World Bosses coming in Legion. They've really gone all out on launch, with 11 different World Bosses!

Note that each boss drops gear from a specific slot, and each drops a distinct type of relic (except 凋萎者吉姆, who doesn't drop a relic). This makes it easy to figure out which bosses you want to farm to fill out a particular slot.

There is an achievement for killing 8 out of 10 World Bosses - 怪獸大學. This achievement will unlock a colour variation for your Valorous artifact appearance.

Below is a chart with a list of all bosses, and the loot dropped by each. Mousing over a loot item will reveal the tooltip for the item in question.

Boss (Location)	Loot

They are on the small island in the top right corner of Stormheim. When you've discovered the island, there is a big gate on the map, that is the entrance and they are in the farthest room, straight ahead. This island is filled with 110 elites.

This World Boss is highly likely to drop the hidden artifact appearance for Frost Death Knights.

評論來自 Isfendiyar

This boss is my last hope for legit obtainment of Frost DK hidden appearance. What, would they believe us that we obtain it from a fat impmother. Nontheless, this is Blizzard already.

My expectations are way more higher for this. At least, FDK hidden appearance was the latest comer to the game or discovered. I am not talking about ex UH or Blood converters into the FDK.

評論來自 Severist

Confirmed drop of Frost DK Hidden from this boss on live.

評論來自 pandamann

where is it? everyone says its in a cave but I cant find any caves?

評論來自 Pyschotic

Is there any gate to achieving this Hidden Artifact? I haven't leveled my DK yet so that's the reason I'm asking to clarify. So we know it will drop off the Soultakers World Boss but is there any prerequisites beforehand?
AK number?
Need to be 110?
Exalted Reps?

Any information will be greatly appreciated.

Entrance at 84.2, 10.2. Basically where the quest marker is on the map. If you have water mount, you can enter the island from south.
There is also a flight path on this island at 90, 10.7 that you may wanna grab while you're there.
If you need to learn about the boss abilities, the in-game dungeon journal has them.
All mobs on this island are elite, so coming with a group is recommend if you cannot stealth or have low gear.

This boss needs a fix on its aggro leash, as of right now Reaver Jdorn will charge any random player including people just entering the room and hadn't entered combat yet. This easily causes him to leave his leash radius and reset the entire boss fight. Even worse when there's people intentionally pulling him outside to reset the fight just to grief people.

評論來自 Crepusculum

This World Boss is actually a trio of bosses (Captain Hring, Soultrapper Mevra and Reaver Jdorn) that is required for the World Quest 奪魂者.

You can find them in 斯鐸海姆 on the small island of Shield's Rest at the northeastern corner of the map (if you don't have the flight path yet you will have to swim!).

They are actually located inside the Tomb of the Old Kings which entrance is at the following coordinates (it's in the middle of the island in between the north and south bays):

/way Stormheim 83.88, 9.51 Tomb of the Old Kings - The Soultakers

Once inside, head straight until you reach the farthest room where you will find them.

P.S. Death Knights have a guaranteed chance to get 黑暗降臨符文 when looting them, which unlocks the Dark Runeblade appearance (墮落王子之刃) for Frost Death Knights.

Be careful if you die during the fight. You might not want to linger as a ghost. My Monk died during lower boss health so I just stayed put not wanting to take a chance at missing the kill. Two of the bosses died during this time, but I did not get credit. When I rezzed and ran back, I only got credit for being alive during the third boss' death. Had to go through a whole 'nother fight to get it all.

評論來自 krakenexe

This boss drops the Death Knight Frost hidden artifact skin, after all that looking it was just time that we needed. Man, that's not half as exciting as we thought it was going to be. Also the boss is within the cave past some elites.

"The Soultakers" are located in 斯鐸海姆.
Achievement: 怪獸大學
Coordinates: 83.9, 9.6 - 斯鐸海姆, Tomb of the Old Kings,
Flugpunkt: Shield's Rest - 守鱗者威瑟

TomTom: /way Stormheim 83.9, 9.6 Tomb Entrance
TomTom: /way Stormheim 28.0, 45.3 The Soultakers
- the coordinates in the tomb are different from those outside, so use the TomTom coordinates to the Soultakers only in the tomb chamber.

fly to "Shield's Rest" and go up the path and then go down to the left to the "Tomb of the Old Kings". In the tomb, walk down the corridor to the last room, where 捕魂者梅芙拉, 赫林隊長 and 劫奪者約登 are located.

I did this earlier this week on my Death Knight, before I had done the quest to receive the Blades of the Fallen Prince Frost weapon (I had exclusively played her as Blood previously). I did not get the Runes of the Darkening, but my kill did complete the world quest.

I then went back, got the Frost weapon, and killed the Soultakers again. I received the item even though I had completed the world quest. Note that I had to loot it from the boss - it did not appear in my inventory. (Though I suppose it might have been mailed to me).

You can check if you killed them and got loot ID with this script: /run print IsQuestFlaggedCompleted(44510)

Note that you may have difficulty getting a group to kill this boss when the Legion invasion event is in Stormheim (as it is this moment). This is because during the invasion:

The island where the world boss is becomes covered in level 110 elite mob platoons right in front of the cave if you don't do the Legion invasion quest chain 進攻斯鐸海姆.
Completing 進攻斯鐸海姆 quest chain will put players into a different phase on that island. So half the raid will be in a completely different phase.

This quest is annoying - i was running around the island doing a wardens quest and the soultakers world quest popped up. But when I went back to find the path down to the tomb to do the quest it dissappeared - I went to the tomb - died when i got in as the amount of mobs is way more than on the vids on here. and still no world quest. Why is that when I was in the right area and almost into the main hall of the tomb where the bosses are. Soo pissed off right now.

評論來自 ravenhunt

Also do not look on the map on here as they have the quest on the wrong island - it is on the bigger island above the one marked

For how tough these guys are, and the size of the group needed to take them down, the rewards are pretty sad. It almost wasn't worth the flight over.

Important note that I did not see anywhere in these comments or on Reaver Jdorn's page, but WAS in the Wowhead guide: Stay out of Reaver Jdorn's Marauding Mists (green cloud around him). It will CC you for 8 seconds, which is just long enough to drive you absolutely insane. As a tank, you should be able to solo this so long as you keep him focused to avoid this spell and Seadog's Scuttle (if there are other players) and use AoE to keep threat on Captain Hring. It should be pretty easy to avoid Captain Hring's Tentacle Bash, but try to gain aggro on his Cursed Crew when you can, or they explode and cause lots of AoE damage. You can pretty much ignore Soultrapper Mevra. Just don't stand in her Soul Rends.

評論來自 SargonStarblade

Just tried this today solo. I think there may be a bug with it right now. Soultrapper Mevra was the only one of the three spawned and I waited 10 minutes for the others to spawn but nothing. While trying to solo her a DK is just not fast enough and with her teleporting all around she will teleport far enough away that she resets herself.

評論來自 Tariasta

This one's still a mess - the caster teleports so far away that she resets (and the melee reset too if you've run to her). Bug submitted, but not holding my breath.

評論來自 etychon

Just in case anyone wonder, piece of cake to solo at level 120 as Demon Hunter (Vengeance) with iLvl 400.

評論來自 Lucilite

As of 2020, still not soloable due to the bug where Mevra resets when she teleports.

評論來自 2019688

The spawn issue seems to have been resolved, since all three were present at the back of the tomb. What might help with Mevra teleporting all over the place and getting out of range, as others mentioned: ignore her and stay on the stairs. As far as I can tell, she won't get far enough out of range to reset.

An added bonus if you have a pet: simply have it attack her while you focus on Hring and Jdorn, while avoiding the green mist. She was at 10% health when the other two went down, completing the encouter.

評論來自 LurkerPatrol

I just tried this solo as a 120 DH, and had no issues with two of the mobs, but Mevra kept teleporting and resetting.

I somehow "fixed it" by pretending to leave the area (going up the huge stairs in the back) and Mevra reset to her starting position. I then tried to use the only ranged attack I have (Throw glaive) to attack her from the stairs inside the area. Once I did that she just basically teleported to the various positions that she did. I threw glaives at her while she was far away (and used concentrated flame for those as well), and then tried to use any other attacks I had when she teleported to the central location (her starting position). I never left that central area, stayed on the stairs and it somehow worked, but it took a while to down.

So this might be the strat if you're melee, with limited ranged attacks, trying to do this dumb quest.

評論來自 Blue76Gaming

As a druid tank, I just completed this with the help of another druid tank, by casting Wrath and Moonfire. As the boss that teleports isn't able to be Entangled or crowd controlled (druid). We eventually wore down the boss from 3/4 hp with the two ranged spells we had and got a complete.

評論來自 CarrionCarcass

How to beat Mevra as a rogue: Switch to Assassination, switch talents(Master Poisoner, Vigor, Venom Rush), reequip the Heart of Azeroth and have Concentrated Flame as your HoA ability. You have to be very quick with your reactions and it will take long but it's the only way to take her down without her resetting.

When you start the fight she'll stay on the platform for a few seconds, take down the first two guys and reset her. Use ambush and burst her till she resets, she'll start casting expel soul, at the end of this she'll teleport. Stand at the edge of the platform and start spamming poisoned knife and concentrated flame, and vendetta. Use Cloak of Shadows when she casts Expel soul so she has to be forced to come and melee you. After a few rounds of teleporting, Mevra will return to the platform, You have until she finishes casting Expel soul before she leaves the platform so you can burst. You can also melee her when she casts soul rend but return to the edge of the platform before she finishes. The point of this method is to stay in her aggro range and keep her from resetting.

Tldr: spam poisoned knife, concentrated flame, and vendetta at the edge of the platform, burst her when she returns to the platform, use cloak of shadows to force her to melee, burst during soul rend but return to the edge before she finishes her cast. Use her Expel Soul as a timer for when she's going to teleport, stay in her aggro range.

Edit: While Outlaw is made for ranged attacking, it's also weaker and doesn't have as many Dots which is needed to keep her aggro'd

評論來自 gibster99

This is doable as a monk - she bugged once. Every other cast stand in the middle and just wait for her. It's a PITA. She dropped a curious coin.
