It is speculated that this mysterious red crystal is a piece of the Exodar. If true, this suggests that Blizzard had plans for the Exodar and the Draenei before "Vanilla" WoW was even released.

Mmmm.... Speculation is fun.

The is located at exactly (47.32,48.66). It is really large and in a rather undulating and hilly area. There will be 3 x level 12 Raging Moonkin to contend with so come prepared.

This crystal is part of the 紅色水晶 and 清洗水晶 quests.

For 紅色水晶 you do NOT need to click on it. You merely need to get very close to it. For 清洗水晶 you must right click on the object.

Things like Frost Nova are your friend. Even at level 17, wearing only questing greens, my frost mage decided it was better to pick off one or two and run in, Frost Nova the third, get the quest credit, and run! Saved on having to wait to heal up.
