You don't need to be on the specific kill quest to get part of the achievement 高等畜牧學. As long as you are Level 2 Stables to get the 塞司黑爪. Get all the training dailies to have all 6 whistles with you, then go and find this guy and kill him while riding all 6 mounts.

Same concept for getting 獸欄大師, except you need to have Level 3 Stables to get 岡恩牙齒項鍊.

For Beast Mastery hunters, who are a bit gimped on these quests: start out killing the mob normally. Once it's down to about 15-20 percent, freeze trap, play dead, and summon your training mount (don't dismiss your pet!). You can then quickly finish it off with your mount-in-training and voila, credit.

Note: it won't work with the play dead glyph.

in case you decide to ignore the localized storm and simply stand in it, there is a chance your mount will dismount you (and you get a "your mount runs away in fear" message)

When this happens you need to re-do the fight with the same mount.

I actually found a better way to get to him instead of starting all the way south. At 83.8 30.0 there is a rock ledge you can climb up. Follow it up to the large overhanging ledge and you will see another ledge with some Windrocs on it. Simply mount jump to that ledge, and follow it all the way to Thundercall.

I have created a wowhead map with dots marked leading up to 喚雷, since I found the area extremely confusing. There are several ways to get up. This is the route I found to be the easiest - no running through mobs or jumping down ledges.

Note: all coordinates listed here can be seen on the map by clicking on them (no coordinate addon necessary).

The path up to Thundercall starts @ 82.8, 32.8 (in Nagrand). Just before the path begins, the words "Snarlpaw Ledge" will pop up on your screen. The path is a short distance beyond some Highmaul mobs on your right (don't go into this area). At the beginning, the path zig-zags up the hill a few times. After this, there will be a stone bridge part way up - don't cross it, just hug the hill on your left as you go counter-clockwise around it. Thundercall is @ 90.6, 23.6.

This is an important route, it was the routes you used when getting the 年輕的踏草伊萊克, 凱洛茲多姆之魂 for the quest 黯淡的青铜, and for those of you using the gliders to gather the goodies in this area... 探險者倫佐 and 探險者賈里斯.
