This page is actually for the juvenile form of Kroshik, as shown by the modelviewer image. The adult version, which most people are familiar with, is actually: 克羅西克.

He seems to cycle through four different life stages, from egg to to juvenile to adult to dead and sacrificed. Each stage lasts several days.

I found Baby Kroshik wandering around the area below prog's spawn point. He wanders in and out of some of the caves also.

Even though he is flagged as a beast, he cannot be tamed. Beast Lore does not even recognize him as a valid usable target, and Tame Beast gives an "Invalid Target" message.
Just as a heads up for any other hunters that may be curious.

Here's a macro that makes finding the baby version for the achievement easier.

/cleartarget
/tar kroshik
/stopmacro
/bow

This works for all four of his incarnations, though the other three don't really need it as they are stationary or a huge target.

If you want your own little baby Kroshik, grab a Darting Hatchling or Razormaw Hatchling, toss it a Magical Pet Biscuit and rename it to 'Kroshik' ('Baby Kroshik' seems a valid companion pet name too).

Am I the only one who was disappointed that we can't capture baby Kroshik as a companion pet? We already have elite battle pets, why not have this cute little guy as one? I'd nickname him Shiky. As I fight the forces that would aim to dominate or destroy all life on Azeroth, Shiky would be there as a faithful friend and render of torsos to keep me going in these trying times.

Worth to mention - He does not have a nameplate above him so you can't look for that.
He seems to walk up to were his egg are time to time.

searched for him in 6.2 to get the achi.

the macro is great for completing it.

on me on server it was a dead kroshik.

i realmhopped and found the egg on another server and did get credit towards the achi.

i did it on a thursdag, and on about 25-30 servers i only found either dead og egg kroshik.

before all forms of 克羅西克: egg, young, adult, sacrificed. That is all. Don’t click on the ritual stone near sacrificed 克羅西克 unless you are summoning 克羅斯的回音 ( a hostile spirit) as part of 設下陷阱.

To confirm your progress on the achievement 入境隨俗, open the Achievement tab and enter “When in Ihgaluk”.
