Currently tamable, and gorgeous! You can tame them even without being on the quest. Just kill moths and mushan until baby ones spawn, tame it, and you got yourself a gorgeous worm! I really hope they don't remove these guys! I don't mind if they nerf the size, I just don't want my gorgeous maggot removed. Submitted a screenshot of my orc hunter with her worm.

You have to attack porcupines etc around Kyparizar to get them to spawn. Dismiss pet before you attack and tame as soon as they spawn. I was annoyed with blizz for reducing Chibees size but these fellas make up for it...slightly

These larvae spawn from various infected mobs, which are required to be killed for the Klaxxi daily quest 感染.

If you have the quest then you can see which mobs are infected by their hazy brown aura. But they still spawn even if you don't have the quest, you just have to attack random beasts (see the map for the region) until larvae spawn.

Some Useful Knowledge
- You do not have to be on the Quest Infection in order to Spawn or Tame these beasts. They can be tamed without the quest and spawn without it. The Quest itself gives you an idea of which beasts to kill in order to spawn the Worms.
- Any of the Beasts within the area have a chance to spawn Multiple Worms (Mushan, Porcupines, Moths)
- If you have the Buff Angel of Death be careful, this guy WILL kill spawned worms if it decides to happen.
- Once tamed these worms have LOW Health, if you tame one be sure to pop Mend Pet Quickly or if you have the Talent Exhilaration use it. If not, expect the pet to die and be ready to revive it.

These worms are MASSIVE once tamed and they are the 2nd of this particular skin to be Tameable. The other, being Gorishi Grub's which are spawned by a Rare Spawn (Clutchmother Zavas in Un'Goro Crater). These guys are still tameable even after things so we are likely going to be able to keep them :) But you never know with Blizzard so if you want one be sure to tame them while you can.

I just captures one it spawned after killing a moth in dread wastes. it took killing two of the moths but the taming was easy.

Step 1: Get the worm.
Step 2: Go to Orgrimmar/Stormwind.
Step 3: Use Bestial Wrath (and Misdirection on the pet if you have the glyph).
Step 4: Watch it get even bigger.
Step 5: Terrorize Orgrimmar/Stormwind.

Just got it, kill Bonedust Moths in the area regardless of the quest. Today is the last day!

I just checked my pet i tamed when 5.1. came out, still tameable. The Beast lore says so!

As of 5.4 they are still tame-able but are not "Huge" like they were in 5.1. There is a worm in Dragonblight (Northrend/Wotlk) named "Jormungar Tunneler" that shares the same model, but has a different color that is not tame-able at this time that hopefully will be in the future.
