Found him in the Nectarbreeze Orchard.

He had 1264k HP, and dropped 殲滅黑暗法杖 plus 天僧寺受訓員護腿 (and the bag)

Funny thing was, I engaged him, and then the NPCs killed him off. I was worried for a second that I won't get the loot (he went down fast), but I was able to loot him after a few seconds.

Still, I recommend moving him from the NPCs just in case.

All Mogu Sorcerers use the same set of mechanics.

Dark Bolt is a simple ranged attack, ala wanding. Nothing to be done about this.

Shadow Bolt is exactly what it sounds like. It can be interrupted and although it's not a particularly strong attack, there's nothing else to be interrupted anyway.

Voidcloud creates a persistent purple AoE zone centered on your location when the spell finishes. This zone will deal heavy damage if you do not move out of it quickly, so try to be moving already when the cast is ending and place it in an area you can stay out of. Voidclouds last long enough that you may have 2 or 3 up at the same time. The spell can be delayed by stunning the Mogu, but he will resume casting it once the stun wears off.

This rare patrols through the orchard, should be simple enough to kill even with all of the other npcs in the area, depending on your dps you should only have to move very slightly out of the void clouds.

Very very easy kill. Mogu sorcerer's of all levels provide almost no risk for every class. Easiest pandaren champions by far.

the Bags have only a small chance to drop from the rares just like its a small chance to get the different legs but the bage rarely have anything of use exept around 30 gold and mabe some cloth

I am finding this guy extremely hard to get, and he is the last rare I need for "Glorious!". Because the NPC's attack him I am thinking that they often kill him completely, similar to the rare mob in Terrokar Forest. This has been a source of great frustration.

Found him up near Shao the Defiant, who didn't want to help me up until the shadow circle thing hit him then he went nuts. Hit him for about 800k, I got the credit and the loot and achievement.

Easiest kill... with the NPC's help ;)

I just got him in the orchard near the quest NPCs. They didn't help me fight him. For me it was a tough fight, I had to heal my pet constantly because his AOE was intense.

He dropped the Grookin' trousers for me, which was great because it was an upgrade I could use. He didn't drop anything else.

6:10am GMT I haven't even been on Pandaria for more than an hour. As I was about to engange Ga'trul at the top of Twinspire tower, my NPCscan detected him. First thing that came to mind is screw this I want to kill that rare mob before someone beats me to it.

First try I died because there was 2 other mobs trying to kill me as well and it caught me off-guard because even though he wasn't an elite, he is damn tough and it doesn't help that I just changed to assassination off-spec and most of my skills isn't even on my action bars yet. However next attempt I manage to lure him away of the other mobs and the fight probably took around 2 minutes. and at the end he dropped a jade fire leggings.

To those people who are level 85 and who wants to engage him be aware that he will not die quite fast.

This video may not provide much more information than what other commenters have already mentioned, but I figured I'd post my video anyways :) I go around with my boyfriend on a regular basis killing rares and I take videos of them and put them on youtube. The description holds the majority of the information.

If nothing else... you can see what the special skills look like. (Although on low settings cause my computer sucks) Also, because of that reason - I always recommend people to turn to a higher quality and fullscreen to see as much as they can. :P

He just spawned right in front of me. Surprised me for a second. He wasn't too hard to solo, just popped Mirror Image and spammed him down.

He dropped Darkstaff of Annihilation and Tian Trainee Leggings

I just downed him myself as a 86 Windwalker Monk with gear lvl390, fairly easy with a couple Expel Harm. He dropped Gan Shi Warlord Legguards which I cannot use! I really wanted the Tian Trainee Leggings ! that would have been sweet!

Found him in the Nectarbreeze Orchard, 1.2M health. I killed him on the second try, level 86 fury warrior in mostly dungeon blues with an average ilvl of about 395.

On the first try I went in guns blazing and tried to nuke him down as fast as I could. It didn't end well.

On the second try I was still a bit rushed because I didn't want someone else to snag him from me and I ended up hurrying my pull and aggroed one of the regular mobs in the area.

This ended up being a blessing in disguise as I killed the extra mob when I was at about 60% health, and proceeded to victory rush on Kor'nas and get 20% of my health back. I used this strategy to great effect, interrupting his shadow bolts and moving to stay out of his void circles, pulling and killing additional mobs for the healing from victory rush as needed. It was a very easy and relatively quick fight the second time around, lasting less than a minute.

He dropped the green bag and plate dps legs, which were a fantastic upgrade for me at the time. I didn't even realize he was a part of an achievement until I got it after killing him.

TL; DR...any class with interrupts and self healing should have little to no trouble with him. Just avoid his void circles.

For the past 2 weeks Ive been farming this guy on my 85 mage for the staff, and All im getting is random low drop rate crap. I go and switch over to my 90 hunter and kill him and he drops the staff, it is glitched to ONLY drop the staff on high levels?. My friend even killed him on his server as level 90 and the staff dropped from him.

Had a guild mate with a lvl 90 mage port my lvl 80 priest to shrine of the seven stars. Then flew me to halfhill so i could finish leveling tailoring in the silken fields, got no xp my first try 590/600. I ended up looking for a place to farm motes of harmony to get a PvP pattern to finish up my profession, which took me to Nectarbreeze Orchard killing random Gormali. I saw Kor'nas walking about and cleared everything around him. It took me awhile and i pulled a respawn but ended up killing him in about 5 minutes...dropping 15k smites all day long. He dropped Orchard Tender Leggings, 3 stacks of windwool, and 4 motes of harmony...well worth my time. I will be checking back regularly for this npc.

Kor'nas Nightsavage seems have a really fast respawn timer, I just killed him for the seconth time in the matter of 11/2 hour.

Solo's easily as 85 Warlock in assorted blues/greens. Went Demo w/Voidwalker. Built up demonic energy on adds in area I would fight him, aggrod, popped Metamorphosis and burned him down in about 30 seconds.

Edit: Got staff on 3rd kill. Spawned 50 minutes exactly from time of 2nd kill.

Please note that all npc's respawn times are based on the amount of people currently on your realm. Higher amount of players online = faster respawn time.

Lvl 85 pally. He dropped the Orchard Tender's Leggings, the bag of goodies. I died on the first attempt because I was in the middle of mobs so couldn't really move anywhere away from his AOEs without pulling other mobs.

On my second attempt I pulled him while on the edge of the village and two npcs jumped in to help which was an added bonus. I'm a bit out of practice (haven't played for years) but I just kept myself healed up and away from the AOEs and he went down slowly but surely. The npcs didn't really seem to make a huge difference tbh!

I was camping this guy, one of the few left for my Glorious! achievement. To stave off boredom I downed a Potion of Luck and started after the mobs in the area, running an efficient loop around the village. Suffice it to say, they aren't worth the trouble. Each drops less than 50 silver. After ten minutes a few questers showed up so I stopped my slaughter, by which point I had only collected:

4x Plundered Treasure (containing ~25g, a little leather and a little ore)
12x Windwool Cloth
Errick's Woundbinder Gauntlets
Greens & grays worth ~26g

Granted, it would all cover the cost of the potion, but it was rather disappointing. I hung out in the area another 20 minutes writing this post, and tabbed back to find Kor'nas had spawned. On to the next one...
