IMPORTANT:
A bug prevents the spawn of Sprouted Frond. After picking up the quest do NOT turn in the quest to Denalan (43.8, 44.2) at the Wellspring Hovel, but to the Denalan who is next to Lake Al'Ameth, as Denalan at the Wellsping Hovel wont spawn the Sprouted Frond in the long plant stand after completing the quest and you will be unable to get the next quest. The Denalan (59.8, 59.6) that is to the east of Lake Al'Ameth (59.8, 59.6) he will spawn the Sprouted Frond and you can pick up the next quest The Shimmering Frond. If like me you turned it in to Denalan at the Wellspring Hovel, just travel to the one near the lake and log out and go onto another character who hasnt done the quest yet and turn it in to Denalan at the lake and log out, the plants should spawn and give you enough time to re-log back to your previous character and do the quest.

After the burning of Teldrassil, you can find Denalan's spirit in the Maw, as part of "The Lost of Teldrassil" Night Fae quest.

Denalan is referenced by Sylvia Whisperbloom in the Emerald Dream. Sylvia claims her research into seeds is building off of Denalan's research. In quest Mysterious Seeds.

In the Dragonflight quest 個人祭品, 泰蘭妲‧語風 has the player help her conduct a touching ceremony for the new wellspring in the new World Tree, 埃達希爾 (located in the Dragon Isles). The player is instructed to choose a single item to contribute as a token of the Night Elves for this ceremony.

Among the list of potential offerings is "A sachet of 稀土 from Darnassus." It would seem this "sachet of rare earth" is at least a reference to the "package of rare earth" the player must bring to 德納蘭 in the Night Elf starting quest, 德納蘭的泥土.

I thought this was a really touching tribute, considering 德納蘭 did not survive the burning of Teldrassil by Sylvanas in the lead-up to Battle for Azeroth.
