There seems to be some myth currently going around that you cannot loot this in a raid group. Had a couple people telling me not to turn the party into a raid group, and had some other random members leaving when they found out they are in a raid group. There is nothing that should make you think the mount is not lootable in a raid group. In fact most of open world SL mounts are.

Spawn timer is about an hour, found the body at 10:02 respawned at 11:02

Gorespine dropped today in a raid group. So that is confirmed then if someone was still wondering!

just in case you guys feel unlucky heres my stats on rares:
nerissa - 60 tries (no drop) UPD 94 tries still no drop
gieger - 36 tries (got mount)
mal korak - 25 (no mount) UPD got on 30th try
I know it is not that impressive but at the same time every day I see multiple drops of these mounts in raids/parties and moreover I know a lot of people who got their mounts on first kill
It just gets kinda frustrating wasting literally hours to farm these rares with more than 1 character (yeah some days you get lucky and get to find groups instantly while some days you try to join 20seconds old party and rare is already dead)

Can you only get the mount drop from the first defeat of that day, or is it worth going back to try again each respawn?

Are there currently any timer addons to help with keeping track of this rare's respawn? WorldBossTimers doesn't seem to capture it

Crazy stupid that they made her also drop 死靈油. And to top it off gave it a low drop rate.

So takes awhile to spawn, drops a mount so always being farmed and you need the (low drop rate) oil for one of the constructs...

Yeah smart move.

Edit: You get an idea of how low the drop rate is on this rare. Everytime I go to it, even this late in the xpac, there are always ppl waiting for it to spawn.

waited maybe 25 min for the spawn, tagged her, make a group for randoms to come get free kill.
dropped Oil (necrolord stuff) first kill.

Finally got mount after ~125 kills. In that time I acquired 3-4 necrotic oils. Good luck, fam. It'll drop eventually!
It dropped for a level 57, so 60 is for sure not a requirement.

Just want to note that if you're camping for this add and you have the buff from 偽裝幻象 addons MAY or MAY NOT alert you to the rare.

I hate to be that guy, but I came across this rare while bumming around in Maldraxxus.
I haven't played since Legion, but I got this mount on my first ever kill.

Absolutely nuts.

As of 10.2.6 here is my 2 kills while camping (local times)
2:11 AM
3:04 AM
Neither dropped Necromantic Oil or Gorespine, just anima and trash drops...
VERY annoying...

Hello from me also! Today i came to kill the rare for the first time!When its rear it does drop items normally! When the icon is not rear anymore and you stay there and camp the rear the Portraite change to gold so its elite after first kill!When she became Elite drops (2 times kills in row) x4 so maybe you can get loot from her only once per day when she is Rear NPC!

Droped 16 死靈油 already and still no mount. Starting to think there's some prerequisite for looting 血椎 Y_Y

EDIT: Got it today. As it came out the prerequisite is probably 30 死靈油 :D BTW killed the guy 76 times.

Already at 161 tries every day with multiple characters. Can't see it anymore

Guys any idea why this rare not spawn for even once ? i play ALL shadowlands all the time and not last 3 weeks i farm this rare and not even once i saw it ? Any ideas why ?
